I see that he's penciled in for Friday but has that been made official yet?

 

I have tickets for Saturday's game and would obviously much prefer to see Harden's debut over a Marquis start.

i just picked up a friday night shift, but if he is throwing on friday...i want to give it back up

Kind of reminds me of that Prior situation. :( They might do it to make sure hes 100% Hopefully this sets up a showdown with Marquis and Marshall and hopefully Marquis gets rocked and gets kicked out of the rotation.

We should just ask for Gallagher back if Harden is injured. This might be worse than Prior.

 

I hope Gaudin can keep up his good season though.

With the way our staff has been pitching thus far, I have no problem with Harden not starting until after the All-Star Break. There's no use in running the risk of him getting injured right out of the gate.

 

A healthy Harden is needed for the stretch run and postseason more than anything.

I dont see why all the freaking out. I understand if they want to rest him till after the all-star break makes sense to me. If he's been having the dead arm issue and he's tired from not having played a full season in years why not just let him skip a start? We want this guy healthy and strong for the second half. Marshall has been doing a great job, I really hope they put Marquis in the pen instead of demoting him. Rest Harden, Id rather have him healthy and strong for when we need him the most.
