I always wondered if maybe Baker's distaste for the walk was stemmed from watching teams walk Barry Bonds and then the crappy hitters behind him not being able to drive him in.

 

 

Random thought, sorry. Good article, though. (for the most part, a couple things I disagree with)

I order of most to least crappy:

 

Dusty Baker, Charlie Manuel, Joe Girardi, Ozzy Guillen, Ned Yost, Bruce Bochy (for leaving SD for SF)

yeah, how Charlie Manuel didn't make that list is mind-bottling

 

Last week I say Girardi use Cano (I think) bunt over Molina to third.

yeah, how Charlie Manuel didn't make that list is mind-bottling

And Cano never could bunt. Girardi isn't that great.

I hate Ozzie Guillen with a vicious passion, but he's not the 2nd worst manager in baseball.

 

Maybe not, but I would still consider ozzie guillen still a top 5 worst manager.
