.... Their first rounder from last year is already in AA?

Yep -- Apparently we get to take it in the family jewels from the southside at all levels of the organization. Fun.

Ours was a HS pitcher from Utah. I didn't even know people played baseball there.

Evidentally they don't play very well, considering he didn't give up a single earned run his entire Senior year.

Prior interview -

Velocity has never been a big deal for him, he thinks it will come back in time. Says that it happens with the injury that he had. Feels he's most effective 91-93, so he's close.

Feels stronger after each start

Interviewer tries to get Mark to say that the cubs have a chance with him and Lee coming back. Prior says that's unrealistic.

BTW Flames- Do you really want Aldridge?

I'm leaning more towards Thomas every day, but I'd still like Aldridge if Toronto doesn't pick him. He's a safe pick and he'd be a good post presence for the Bulls.

back to the Jaxx game, the Jaxx's offense has been in a funk recently. Hopefully they'll be up for Broadway tonight.
