Ah yes. Just what the Cubs need to disrupt their one game win streak....a lefty!!!

Hey, now that they have that left handed BP pitcher they should be hitting the first pitch everytime off a lefty shouldnt they?

Is it bad that when I saw Mark Prior's Calves had started this game thread I thought "the Cubs didn't win today did they?" before remembering that the Cubs did win? My first instinct is that the Cubs lost.

I should add that I watched todays game as well.

Hmmmm, I have three choices for the night?

Listen to Paris Hilton discuss the problems that the world is facing....

Watch an old movie of Pauly Shore....or

Watch the Cubs game...

Believe it or not, this is a hard choice... :-k

Cobs won last night....that means they have to lose at least 3 in a row before the next win, right?

Shouldn't be a problem...I think Capuano has thrown something like 17 scoreless innings in his two starts against us this year...we should have no problem losing this one.

One bullpen move away from having both his career shutouts come against the Cubs in the last two months.

Maddux pitching makes this game very boring. At least with Prior, Marshall, Marmol there is something of interest to follow.

Maddux is old and washed up. He wont be on the team next year and this year is over. If i went to a bar and watched this game i would order water, thats how boring it is to me.

I'm hoping Maddux can look decent enough to still draw interest. I have a hard time believing somebody would give up much more him as poorly as he's pitched for 2 months.

  That was pretty good! I am picking up a friend from Arizona at the airport at 7:00 then we are gonna get our asses to a bar to watch the game.

So you are saying that if you were the Minister of Very Boring Things this game would be your first official act? A very cunning plan I must say!

Hey, on the plus side, if the Brewers sweep the Cubs, Dusty can no long claim to be a winning manager with the Cubs!

well, it's a plus side if you don't like Baker...

Hey, if you have Extra Innings watch the Devil Rays tonight. That stealing home thing last night was exciting. There is a possibility that the Rays might sweep the Red Sox. 8)

If it sounds like I won't be watching the Cubs, that would be a correct assumption.
