Wow..we knew Pagan would be starting today on Tuesday, and that is fine. I guess everybody is getting the day off today though-at least they didn't have Neifi sub in for Izturis today and then for Cedeno tomorrow-which at least allows Theriot to get 1 of those 2 starts.

True-I guess I was prepared for that, since Bruce already said on Tuesday that Murton would start on Tuesday and Wednesday and then Pagan on Thursday-so I guess I just didn't think about any possible lineup changes because of the planning that was already set out.

I just found it. Jones is 5 for 11 against Davis in his career.

He's 5 for 11 with a double against Davis. I'm not sure we can place much stock in 11 plate appearances, but I suppose it's fine to start Jacque today.

It may have, I haven't read the whole thread or checked the splits. There was some hope that either Pagan or Murton would get some of JJones at-bats vs lefties for the remainder of the season, since decisions will have to be made on both players this off-season.

It's nice to see Theriot get a start.
