It looks like the Yankees are about to join the Cubs and Phillies and get smoked by an underdog. I predict that Joe Torre will be cleaning out his office an about an hour or so.

 

And as for The Rocket, if that wasnt the biggest waste of money in history, surely it ranks in the top 3.

"Toast" being capitalized is my favorite part. I stared at the title for way too long thinking that Torres Toast was something I'd never heard of.

Yup, so far all four winning teams had a better season record than the teams they beat.

 

Now if you by "underdog" you mean "team that spent the least money", then only the Red Sox wasn't an underdog.
