Kerry Wood's first rehab start will be with the Class A Peoria Chiefs in Peoria against the Lansing Lugnuts at 6:30 pm CT. Kerry is scheduled to throw 70-80 pitches.

 

RHP Kerry Wood vs. RHP Billy Carnline (3-0, 0.32 ERA)

Actually, the Cubs game is earlier. It starts at 3:05 P.M. Central time and should be over before the Chiefs' game starts (unless it's tied 0-0 in the 20th inning :D ).

Is it true that this start will offically put him at more rehab starts then major league starts over the past 3 years?

After tonight's minor league start the ratio will be 43-7 major/minor starts for Wood since the beginning of 2004, and 75-7 since 2003.
