I've officially given up on Dempster. Unless he's pitching hurt, he's just proving last year and the beginning of this one were just an extended fluke. Yeah, I know the team is bad and his schedule has been all over the place, but he's looking beyond terrible at this point.

Wow. I just watched the game on Tivo (the Bears take priority at this point).

 

Dempster is really struggling. If he isn't injured, he needs to be gone in the offseason, not merely removed from the closer's role. We have a ton of good arms ready to fill the pen. Time for a bonafide closer and not another Hendry special.
