Yea precautionary, but its not like Lou to just scratch him from the line-up at the last second.

Oh well, lets hope for the best.

Soriano isn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. But if we lose A Ram... season over.

Which is exactly why they're going to sit him over something like this instead of risking a serious injury.

By the look of our offense, Soriano's hurts a lot. He is one of our only power threats.

And even that is just a threat, based on his complete lack of bombs this year.

Aramis to see hand specialist

After an 8-2 loss to Houston Wednesday night, the Cubs announced Aramis Ramirez had flown to Chicago to see a hand specialist after aggravating a sore right wrist and being scratched from the starting lineup.

That can't be good news. :x

It's a sign of our team power patheticness that this statement can make sense even when Fonzie is leading the team in homers.

Ramirez is expected to rejoin the team in Denver on Friday, but whether he will be available to play is unknown.

Went to see a hand specialist in Chicago.

We're in deep, deep trouble. This could be the season right here.

Which might be the reason for his lack of power. If you have a sore hand and sore knee you aren't going to be too productive. Even if he plays he's not going to be the same Ram from the first half of the year, if these injuries linger all year long.

Yep, very little question why he couldn't hit homers now. I'll bet he was trying to play with it for awhile.

Damn. Now I'm depressed

Didn't he sit our a few games in the first half because of a sore wrist? I think that was Ram?

I think he did, but man this really blows... as someone said earlier even when he does come back these types of injuries are often nagging and his power stroke might be gone the rest of the year :(
