I'm gonna say Schuerholz to STL. :lol:

 

OK, I'm dreaming, but I did not see this coming.

 

He doesn't seem to fit DeWitt's profile.

 

Honestly, I think he does. Great player development, good at mixing vets with young players. But I do think this means that he is just done as a GM in the league.

Yeah, I'd hate to see him go to St.Louis...he's almost been as successful as Jockety...you guys need somebody bad...really, really bad.

I'd take John Schuerholz over Walt Jocketty every day of the week and twice on Sunday. He's a much better GM than Jocketty.

Looks like Frank Wren will be named the new GM.

According to the Chicago Tribune's Phil Rogers, Braves GM John Schuerholz isn't resigning but is instead taking over the team president's role with Atlanta.

Frank Wren will be named GM, but Schuerholz will have input into personnel decisions.
