Not being able to handle a not vicious at all joke on a message board about someone that you have never met dying. Really? Can you people handle watching the evening news without crying? Maybe if you pulled your pants up and stopped being a d*ck, we'd all be better off. Your life is very sad if you...

"To the many fans who have already reached out with condolences, and to the many more who are in mourning, thank you for taking these players in, like they are one of your own. This level of care is what sets our fans apart." I hope this doesn't come off as insensitive but, really Matheny...

Re: Daytona to Myrtle Beach, KC to South Bend, Boise next?

a little sad. I mean I only went to 2 games to see Albert Almora. But never got around to even though I meant to catch Kyle Schwarber while he was there. Kane County is less than 5 minutes from me. Not that you should feel bad in any way, but people like you who live right there not going to any mo...

Re: Random Cubs Musings: Minor League Edition

it's ok, though rizzo, soler, and maybe russell can handle being the really good overall hitters and javy and bryant can hit like .240-.260 and mash a lot of dongs on the back end . it'll still result in lots of runs. oh and that castro guy can do stuff too. They should probably just focus on hitti...

With this news out it makes me look back to the Kane County move. As someone who lives close by, I know the location went into it. But is Kane County known to have good facilities for the players?

I remain skeptical until he pitches the final pitch for the final out in game 7 of the World series in which the Cubs win.

If they go after Lester? Fine. I just hope it's someone that's going to hold up well for 4+ years if they spend big money. To be honest, I'd love to try to get Shark back when he hits FA. Especially if he keeps up his performance. I like the youth of his arm better in a long term deal. Lester and s...

This front office actually has a few really good acquisitions for nothing more than a dump in a box. See: Valbuena, Luis.

This is a good idea. Yeah I'd rather see Olt at 1B than someone like Valaika. As you said at least Olt COULD provide some decent trade value.
