Re: Sean Marshall

I think a lot of what Hendry had done over his tenure here will be defined by what he does with the rotation in this coming season. He's grown some pretty decent arms and he's signed some awful contracts. If he does indeed move Dempster for a bat, put Wood in the closer spot and keep Marshall in the...

This team is one of the worst assembled teams I've ever seen. Maybe tomorrow I'll do the math, but it wouldn't suprise me if we are spending more money per win than any team ever. Maybe some of those Mets teams beat us. I'm assuming the Yankees are going to end up in the playoffs. Anyway, regardles...

When it comes to saving rape victems, I follow a simple policy: grab my sword immediately, or not at all. I hope this guy doesn't get jail time, but more importantly, I hope I never have to share a building with him. Imagine how scared the other poor guy must have been. No way he realized that the g...

Regardless of the awful routes Soriano takes, that video brightened my day. Just seeing guys in blue uniforms throwing the ball around - and Lee at first base! It's a shame I won't be back in Chicago until May.

I say replaced "Metallica" with "Master of Puppets", and replace "The Bends" with "OK Computer". Or add my suggestions in. This is a little OT, but with all the overpaying we've done on pitching, I found this snippet from the tribune interesting: His starters will cost around $31.5 million if Prior is included, as opposed to the $34.8 million last season on the five starters who were pegged to be in the rotation—Wood, ...

I hope the Pistons destroy the Cavs. I'm fairly confident they will. Why is that? If I weren't a fan I'd still be rooting for the upset. I'm rooting for the Cavs just to see how many ways the talking heads can fall in love with LBJ if he makes it to the ECF. are you saying they don't have a reason ...

Aren't you guys tired of the same crap year in and year out? I've been a loyal fan of this team for most of my 37 years, and they NEVER win it. I was so sure at one point that we would win it all befor that team on the south side whom I refuse to acknowledge. BUt it didn't happen. Plus it looks lik...

Its not like we're gonna get a player more valuable in return. I don't get it...why help our line-up but hurt our staff by just as much? FWIW, those numbers are about equivalent to Shawn Marion thi...
