Re: 9/18 Cardinals (Lynn) @ Cubs (Haren) 1:20 CDT, ABC 7

I'll be at this one. Aw yeah. I'll be there as well. I work with a bunch of cardinals fans (near St Louis) and they bought me and the wife tickets to this game. We are staying in a hostel near wrigleyville and headed up to the game in a couple hours. Sportscomedy improv last night, then Kingston Mi...

Re: 2015 Cubs Positivity Thread

I guess, though in this instance it reads to me as "the Cubs have a lot of men on base for their core hitters, and those hitters are getting hits with RISP. it means something which is why i said it was a fun byproduct of how good our offense has been I dunno, I felt like you were laughing it ...

Why lol at RBI? This is the perfect context for it, essentially acknowledging that it is somewhat of a team stat.

Re: 9/8 Cubs (Hammel) @ Cardinals (Wacha) 7:15 PM CST, CSN

Looks pretty unlikely they'll play this one. Knew this was Rondon Fan before I read the username Lol. I live in metro east St Louis (Illinois side of the river) and I'm heading to the game, because I'm pretty sure Rondon Fan clones will be selling their tickets pretty cheap. And the radar looks to ...

This is good to hear. Been watching the Cubs since '82 and he solidified the 3B position that had been a hole for the team dating back to Santo. Always been a fan. *ahem* Madlock. Everyone forgets about Madlock. Three years doesn't count as stability. He was good, but not a fixture. he certainly wa...

Some of you will have toforgive me, but I really like the willingness of this regime to admit a mistake and move on. Basically that they understand what a sunk cost is. Why would anyone have to forgive you for that Because saying nice things about the Cubs front office is not tolerated by some. Goo...

Re: 2015 Cubs Positivity Thread

Arguably the best stretch for this franchise since the end of the 03' regular season (weekend sweep of Pitt, including a double-header). 4 game sweep of Milwaukee was probably just a shade better, since it was for the division. But it's close, and if someone wants to say this is better because it's...

Last night was the perfect time to use him. Essentially an off day for the bullpen. (And extra batting practice for the hitters)
