Pool/pool deck is fenced in, with the grass behind that

I was gonna say, I can't even imagine paying the insurance premiums for a pool with no fence. Jesus.

We have a new couple in our subdivision with two large dogs. I caught one of them yesterday, happened to be looking out the window, as one of his dogs dropped a giant deuce in the yard across the street. Didn't pick it up. And now I'm finding piles in my yard.

This aggression will not stand.

The new Colonel Sanders creeps me the [expletive] out. He must be stricken from all visual media.

Agree 100%. I don't know what it is supposed to be. A parody? It's not clear. And that's not good.

So I closed on my townhouse (alone) on May 29th. So far the AC has broken, the water heater had to be replaced and now there is a leak SOMEWHERE in my bathroom downstairs. They have jackhammered a 2 x 2 foot hole in my floor and now they think it's in the wall. So, basically they are just aimlessly, slowly destructing my downstairs in hopes of finding the leak. I mean I guess I don't know what else they can do, but it really kind of sucks.

Also, divorce sucks. Nothing quite says "catch" like a soon-to-be twice divorced 33-year-old.

Basically I'm totally and completely trying to focus on my happy, healthy, beautiful 3 week old boy. But even then I miss him terribly when he's not around.

Good point. This, too, will give me motivation to keep going.

Yesterday the Governor of Alabama appointment a 28 year old to the public education commission. The man led an intuitive to oppose the buliding of a new schools in Mobile to alleviate massive overcrowding. He has also publicly stated he would never send his kids to public schools.

Living in Alabama is wonderful. They take pride in staying ignorant.

My wife and I did summer internships in Mississippi and swore she would never live anywhere in the south again. I found it hard to disagree.

Damn. 3 week old and mid-divorce? That's rough. Sorry to hear.

That said, like you said, at least you have him.
