Russell *just* took two days off to get here and Soler probably pulled his hamstring on his way to see the lineup board anyway.

Russell is kind of weird but Soler getting a day off isn't surprising given his hamstring issues.

at the same time, russell is also coming off a hamstring injury himself..one that sounds more serious based on descriptions

You ever hear "Starlin Castro and Anthony Rizzo will not be playing tonight they have a scheduled day off...." uh no... I could see one if maybe they were nursing a minor injury. Soler for instance that would make some sense due to the hamstring issues but damn you cant work your way out of a slump on the bench damn it

***edit*** forgot Russell has had his own hamstring issues this year. I hope they reprogram his muscles as well lol

That's right, I forgot that.

Russell's injury was definitely more severe, he actually tore his hamstring.
