I thumbed through the Fallout 4 strategy guide today. It's 550 pages

Some of the relatively negative reviews I've read have knocked Fallout 4 for being like New Vegas and Fallout 3; essentially dinging Fallout for being Fallout.

Now the bugs are a legitimate complaint regardless of taste, but a couple of reviewers seem just to not like Bethesda's take on the franchise. It's not everybody's cup of tea. For that reason it's not a franchise where universal acclaim is to be expected.

They could make it basically a full sized dlc to fallout 3 and i would pay the money i got from selling those naked pictures of don majkowski to a dude who said he was from deadspin just to play it.

Lost in the excitement, the Tomb Raider sequel is also scoring some really great reviews.

I'm broke af so I'm probably waiting on FO4, at least til I'm done with GTA5. Probably won't hurt to let some things get patched in the meantime as well.

The last one was one of my best Steam sale purchases. It was cheap enough that I grabbed it on a whim after seeing non-terrible review scores, and I was really surprised with how great it was.

I'll be buying the new one. But with Fallout 4, the new Starcraft expansion, and the new Hearthstone adventure... Well, I just wont be prioritizing Tomb Raider for a year or so.

Unless you have an XBone you won't be playing TR for a year or so anyway. Holiday 2016 for other platforms.

Sacrifices have to be made when you have a [expletive] ton of content and a gigantic game world, and BGS typically makes that trade off. The graphics themselves are fine with me, but the facial animations are absolutely brutal.

Yeah, the lip synching is rough. I think the environments and lighting are pretty nice, but the character animations are not good. Still, it's fun to be in this world again.

I'm only level 3 but haven't had the option of adding perks yet. When does that happen?

The newly announced female version of Link from Legend of Zelda is named "Linkle" for some reason. Seriously, guys?

The building system in FO4 is really poorly explained in-game, but now that I've figured it out, it's pretty easy.
