Ian McShane talking about his role on the show:

Spoiler: show
http://news.yahoo.com/game-of-thrones-spoilers-will-1301326694244406.html
Ian coyly teased to website Pop Goes The News: “I’ll give you one hint. I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you’re never going to see again. I’ll leave it at that.”
While Ian is set to join Game of Thrones, he won’t be sticking around for long.
He said: “[It’s] a one-off episode. That’s why I did it.”
And who, according to Showalter, best exemplifies high-buttedness? Cubs first baseman Derrek Lee. "I don’t want to say he’s got a perfect butt, but when I look at it I say, Wow."

The way that's edited (at the end) almost makes me think that Jon's "death" is Bran seeing a vision of the future rather than real time events. That doesn't jive with the way the books are written, of course

explain?

it looks to me like they edit it to make it look like Bran has visions of lots of things that have happened to his family and others in westeros and essos, and his comment is most likely about how how everybody south of the wall is ignorant of what is about to come down from the north.

Watching it again, he may just be seeing what happens to Jon in real time. Maybe this somehow pushes the two together again

I think, "no one knows" is more telling.

if it's Meribald, then it's definitely possible.

I'm not sure of the timeline here but Bran looks to have aged at least 6 years since we last saw him.

Based on the people who ride the blue line this series is the only books in actual print. It's not like these books are good. Just release something and collect an amazing amount of money.
