Podcast Thread

So I did a quick search and didn't see a thread for this anywhere although I'm sure it's been discussed on some level somewhere. Anyway I made this so deal with it.

I've been addicted to podcasts for a while now and am always looking for new ones. I'm currently listening to:

This American Life
RadioLab
The Moth
Fringe Average - The Mike Ferrin/Jason Parks podcast
Effectively Wild - Daily BP podcast done by two hosts who appear to hate their job and are the closest thing to a real life Sisyphus I've seen in a while.
Flags Fly Forever - BP Fantasy podcast, done every week or so
Bleacher Nation - Only every now and then

What about you folks?

Hardcore History. Best out there CT. He only releases one every three months or so, but [expletive], they are simply amazing.

How Did This Get Made? is pretty good.
The Nerdist can be good as well.

The nerdist got tiresome very quickly for me. It's got to be an interesting guest to make it worthwhile.

Earwolf has quite a few that crack me up. How did this get made and Comedy Bang Bang. Plus Improv for Humans.

Also, Hardcore History is great, but it is disqualified for never airing.

BleacherNation is dreadful; they're too boring/diplomatic/rambling to hold my attention for long

NPR's Planet Money is usually pretty enjoyable

I've kinda grown to be amused by Brett's tendency to make a not terribly offensive joke and then immediately apologize for it and explain it's just a joke.

I don't really listen to podcasts but a coworker loves 99% Invisible, which has some cool pieces and features about design, architecture and technology.

Loving the WWI topic. He will probably be doing it for years. The Mongols one was five episodes. I bet this one could be eight. At the end of the second episode he is still in summer 1914.

More love for the Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project...the latest episode is so [expletive] funny:

"It's a little difficult to hear suggestions on how to kill myself from my children, I have to admit. It's difficult...I don't hate it, but it's difficult."
