That scene between Lou and the Blumquists was incredible.

I just came here to post this. That "look" speech Lou gave was phenomenal. This show is just too freaking good.

Also big tip of the hat to Jean Smart for every second she is on screen, but ESPECIALLY the negotiation scenes. Just so good.

That middle Gerhardt brother, Bear, the one who just glowers and eats and is a hulk; he keeps making me think this every time he's on screen:

And new recurring theme: thumbs up butts.

Mike's not a fan, but Malvo thought it was aces.

I have watched episodes 3 and 4 several times. Truly amazing. I think this may be the most entertained I have ever been watching tv

Yeah, this season is close to reaching Breaking Bad territory. Loved the opening scene. The producers and writers are taking a [expletive] on Ronald Reagan.

Offerman's entrance was perfect.

I love that we're finally getting some Bruce [expletive] Campbell as Reagan next week.

FINALLY: Bruce Campbell as Reagan.

The guy can act; it was like when he played Elvis in Bubba Ho-Tep, where he gets just enough of the mannerisms and tics right, but he doesn't go overboard to make it a caricature. Loved that scene between him and Patrick Wilson in the bathroom.

Also: HOT CLEAVER ACTION.

Kind of bummed (so far) Nick Offerman has such a small part, but he absolutely kills it in every second of screen time.

I half suspect he will end up having some more pivotal moments later on.

And oh Gerhardts, you're just going to make KC angrier.

CG blood effects are the worst. I get that it's almost always more efficient than practical blood effects, but still...it looks off, especially against the snow.

Ah well. Still amazing.

I saw it as they're a "Wonder Twins" sort of duo.

Gotta leave one survivor to deliver the message.

And Mike's package.

that's what i figured. seems flimsy. you could have one of your own deliver the package just as easily. Whatever, minor quibble.

Both sides are basically killing each other on sight at that point; Simone was just an oblivious idiot showing up like she did. Anyone else knocking on Mike's door from the Gerhardt side would have been dead.

Plus do they even know where Milligan is?

do they even need the package delivered? something tells me Mike would be able to piece together what happened without the assistance of an eye-witness and the package.

Whatever, I don't care that much either way.

Spoiler: show
I just think you probably don't let one of the superhuman twins live after he robotically and effortlessly killed 8 guys after being ambushed.

Well, sure, but why do anything as surreal and stylistically as anyone does any violence on this show? Sending a head in a big fancy box is so much more...fun.

Plus they know the twins are Mike's boys, and, like the cops, they seem to think Mike is the real threat of all of the Kansas City mooks so far.

Or maybe it's along the lines of Malvo letting Wrench live in the first season. Game recognizes game.
