Mark Lazerus needs to never talk about baseball again

Last year he said the Cubs were going to lose 90+ games in 2015, were years away from even being mediocre, and that the Sox would win more games.

Just now he said Samardzija is overrated garbage and has made "hundreds of millions of dollars" while putting up 4 ERAs every year.

Then Hub followed this by saying he'd rather sign a 4 like Samardzija than David Price who will do nothing to help the team in the playoffs.

When Kap is the brightest baseball mind and the voice of reason and sanity...jesus christ. Why did I watch this for even 45 seconds?

Simmons and Magary are coworkers now?

I think they're both freelancers as far as GQ is concerned.

As I was watching that clip, I didn't expect him to actually say "because he's not black". I thought was just going to infer it.

Imply. Aren't you a writer or something?

I was so happy when Colin Cowherd got canned from ESPN, but somehow I think the Dan Lebetard show is even worse

Le Batard is pretty smart by sportswriter standards

Yeah, I think he's pretty good, relatively speaking. Easily one of the most entertaining/listenable talking heads on ESPN these days. He's nowhere near being as bad as Cowherd.

It might be ok if they didn't think Stu Gotts was so funny (when he isn't).

I have no clue who Stu Gotts is, but that's not surprising as - other than live sports or the occasional sportscenter - i never watch espn. why put yourself through that? glutton for punishment?

Lebetard isn't all that bad, he's actually pretty good when compared to his peers on ESPN and the like. I'll always have a soft spot for him for when he sold his MLB HOF ballot to Deadspin.

That bloc of ESPN late afternoon shows is always on a bunch of the TV's in my office. If I tried to change it I'd probably be killed.

I mostly do, as I work during that time, but now and then I catch the last few minutes before the noon show and it's awful

Yeah, I thought David was the only weirdo here who willingly subjected himself to sports radio on anything resembling a regular basis.

I listen to sports talk radio on my commute to and from work, and I enjoy it in the afternoon with B&B and Waddle and Silvy, but I am just not a fan of Mully and Hanley (or Mike and Mike). Anyone got any good talk radio alternatives for a morning commute? I used to have a good one when I lived in Michigan, but so far everything in Chicago Ive heard is crap.

I really like most of our local sports radio programming (they're pretty anti-meatball) but am stuck with either Mike and Mike or ESPN Overnight on my way to work

Listen to music you weirdos. The Interwebs will fill you in on the inane crap the radio nerds ramble on about.
