Trestman was the weakest coach I have ever seen. Well, next to Jason Garrett even though has been neutered by Jerry.

Gotta also seriously question Pace. He goes and trades Marshall in large part for lockeroom issues. Possibly tried to trade Bennet for similar reasons.

He brings back the less talented Ratliff though?

i think moving marshall came from ownership. there were reports that he was on the way out before pace was hired.

the guy was a public embarrassment.

Funny that Trestman would "reward" intensity when he himself was the complete antithesis of it.

So Ratliff apparently told a Bears staffer "I wish your kids would die".

Strangely enough he has been named a Ravens captain this week despite not being a member of the team.

Pace isn't available for the media this week. Yeah, have Fox be the one talking about Ratliffe. Unless Pace and his family are in some sort of safehouse until this blows over. Media are reporting that there is increased security at Halas Hall.

The best part about all of this was that no one bothered to tell the media present at Halas Hall about the fact that the building was in lock down when all of this happened. A lot of reporters at the Fox presser seemed apoplectic about it.

in the lions game, at the end of regulation, remember when Ratliff went down to stop the clock? they showed fox on the sideline screaming for him to get up so the clock could run, the bears could lose, and he could go sit naked in the steam room for hours and hours.

you think that fed into the Ratliff breakdown?

I think Ratliff's insanity is what fed into his breakdown. Not to defend Fox...

I wonder if it's insanity or concussion history. Seems like a bad post-career situation waiting to happen. Hell, he's probably in his "post-career" right now. Worried about his and everyone who knows him's safety.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if it's related to CTE, especially based on what his agent was saying the other day, assuming that's true of course.

Just awful ST play there. Like, keystone kops [expletive].

Now call some plays that gain yards. Like a pass 9n first down.

Also get Leno out of there.

While I understand that that was terrible special teams play, looking at the replay number 33 who had contain was clearly held.

Didnt look like a penalty, just a ton 9f bears overruning the pkay and taking horrible angles, leaving nothing but avenues everywhere.

My bad, it was a hold. Make sure the refs know it.
