He's now up to 42 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings.

7 starts, 7-0, 0.69 ERA, 67k/11bb, 4 ER in 52 IP on the season.

I am driving to lawrence on May 9th to see him pitch. Can't wait.

That probably won't be pretty for the Jayhawks.

Mizzou has a good program, is KU any good?

No, not really. I think they're about 5 games over .500 overall and well below .500 in conference.

ETA: 25-18, 5-10. Mizzou will put us in a clown suit. For the record, we played UI (and lost) this year, too.

I don't think we have been any good lately, but I do know we have had a couple of guys drafted. Including the guy we got in the Neifi Perez trade to Detroit. So right away Chris Robinson is our best player, by ridding us of Neifi.

Anytime you lose your Friday night starter right before the start of the season as the Illini did w/Roark, it is likely to fall short of expectations.

There are a couple of good hitters on that team.

Going to the KU-MU game tonight. Don't know who is pitching. Hoping for Crow.

BA has him at #18 on their top 50 draft prospects list which came out on April 18; it's always tough to tell with relievers because a few of them will go higher than they should due to being more major league-ready than starting pitchers.

Yeah, i was hoping since it was at the K they might move him up. He didn't pitch, but I talked with him a bit after and got his autograph. Will have to watch him in Lawerence.

No...it is not just you. It looks like a mix between the old Expos hat and a bad truck stop ad.

Also look at Noyce for S. Utah.

They're both relievers, which is odd as well.

yeah, I was going to comment on that 146 pitch effort until I looked down a bit. 18 Ks in 8.1 is pretty dang impressive too

How about LSU's run? 19 wins in a row to tie a school record and get them to the SEC tourney title game tomorrow.

They beat Bama to get #19 - capped with this grand slam from Blake Dean...
...and a couple days ago, came back with 4 in the 9th and a walk-off by Dean to beat South Carolina to keep the streak alive.

Geaux Tigers (!)

You can't steal my sunshine, OMC. :)

I can't find a score on the second Vandy/Ole Miss game. We may be fighting tomorrow if Ole Miss wins.

Oh my god Ole Miss is blowing a five run lead in the 8th inning with one of the most dominant pitchers in amateur baseball on the mound....crap crap crap.

Mizzou choked away their shot at a B12 tourney title. 2 outs away from clinching a spot in the title game, they blow the lead and the game against OU, then lose their third pool play game for good measure. Hopefully they still host a regional.

UCLA was on the outside of the bubble but has played themselves into a regional by sweeping WSU in LA, beating UCI in Irvine, and winning the first two so far against Cal in Berkeley. Woulda been nice to live up to the preseason top-5 expectations but I'm just happy to see them headed back to the tourney.

LSU is leading Ole Miss 8-2 in the 8th. This would be the Tigers' 20th straight win as they would win the SEC tourney heading into the regionals.
