I love the Bulls but the idea of making the playoffs then losing to a team with LeBron on it is getting a little boring.

Watching Jimmy Buckets should be fun. And hopefully we'll see a good deal of McDermott and Portis.

26 point first quarter after a cold start. Not bad.

Worried about Niko and Pau's defense when they're on the court together, but this team looks fun. A lot of talent. Why is Blatt still coaching the Cavs?

Didn't look bad but Rose being gimpy 15 minutes into the season isn't fun.

That was fun. I change my mind. We're winning the title.

These old crotchety dudes railing on the "switch" to offense is really irritating. And saying we won a game the cavs played terribly as though our defense had nothing to do with that.

Bulls missed a lot of open shots. They didn't play great either. It looked like the first game of the season for both teams.

And one involving teams that has several key players play barely any minutes in the preseason.

I haven't followed the Bulls off season really at all, so I guess I'm surprised to see Noah on the bench. Is that a permanent thing?

For now it is. Might as well keep his minutes low given his leg/foot issues

The TNT guys kept saying Noah volunteered to go to the bench, but I thought I heard differently

Didn't get to watch either, but interesting things to take from the box score. A pretty balanced offensive contribution and a legit 10 deep minutes rotation (that's with no Dunleavy and a Portis DNP who sounded pretty promising in preseason). Also a Hinrich DNP (was he even active?)

I'm guessing Hinrich is active since teams usually dress 12, and the 3 DNP-CD's were Portis, Hinrich and Bairstow.

Yes nice balanced effort offensively. Rose was only 8-22 but considering the fact that he probably sees 2 hoops, thats not too bad. I'd like to see him finishing more drives, but I loved seeing him step up and take those mid range shots again. Those will start to fall and will be lethal for him.

Also love the fact that Moore and Dougie got solid minutes and both contributed positively. I'm guessing Noah will be out tonight so it will be nice to see what Portis does in his regular season debut.

And of course I havent even mentioned Mirotic yet who was solid and was hitting that deep ball, which is extremely positive. Also played unspectacular but solid defense. As long as he does that he's absolutely going to stay in the starting lineup.

Oh man is this funny. An interview with Carlos Boozer where they ask him about his spray on hair...

Fun game. It is absolutely cringe-worthy watching Rose jack up 3s. I can't believe he hasn't developed a decent 3 ball and really my biggest Rose beef is his game hasn't expanded much.

And considering his vision is screwed up, it's hardly a great time to criticize his 3pt shot.
