Re: The Travel Thread

Getting married in September, then headed to Europe in October for the honeymoon. We are thinking Paris, so I'm looking for any pro tips from those who have been.

We are also open to other destinations, but we only have a week. Thoughts?

Re: 2018 Cubs Bold Predictions Thread

Cubs win 102 games and go to the World Series. Hendricks wins the NL Cy Young. Darvish finishes top 5. Willson Contreras is the 3rd Cub to get MVP votes (Bryant, Rizzo). Bryant, Rizzo, and Schwarber combine for 98 HRs. Edwards and Wilson struggle, but the BP is boosted in July. Caratini and Almora a...

Since I know we have some runners here... I started going for runs about a month ago starting on a 2 mile loop on sidewalks/paved bike paths. The first couple times I didn't have any problem, other than having to walk for a bit a couple times during the run. Then, one time my shins really started h...

Re: Politics & Current Events

Since you've cited this being a R v. D thing, then I'll take that to mean the body politic in and of itself. So, to me, the ideal of character in politics was thrown out with the bath water eons ago. That's a non existent desire at this point. Also, I have yet to see any proof of Trump being this h...

Fowler is believed to be looking for a three- to four-year contract for around $14 million per year. 3 years at 14 per? Sign me up. Not tha...
