Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs

Rock and a hard place for Hawks fans on this SCF. If Nashville wins, that's a division rival winning and gives their fans some bragging rights. If Pittsburgh wins, they probably overtake the Blackhawks as 'team of the era" (if they havent already). Nashville for sure, if they win so be it. If ...

Re: Sports Media Thread

I just realized Sirius XM is free until the 30th. They did change their lineup a bit, and it seems better than when I had an active radio until 2015.

Lithium still is playing the same stuff over and over though. Like was mentioned here before, RHCP way too damn much.

Isn't Montana one of those states that gets $3 from the government for every $1 in tax dollars it sends the government? Maybe it was Wyoming? A lot of Red states are like that.

Re: Politics & Current Events

The idea that a 600 year old man built a giant wooden ship and put two of every non-aquatic species on the planet into it and sailed around for 40 days due to a planet covering flood just 4800 years ago is quite literally among the most staggeringly idiotic things that a person could believe. Most ...

And why has it gone into the 10th inning when the visiting team has clearly won?

So un Gilligan to put up something like that without noticing. He always has had a knack for detail. Maybe there is some sort of meaning to it?

Anyone that thinks Trump will escape this is just traumatized from the election (for good reason), and probably needs therapy. He won't escape this but I still think it's going to be a long time before he is no longer president I'll set the over/under at August 1st. 2018? August. I don't see him le...

He inherited 300 million or something like that in the 70's. I read somewhere that any dolt, with half a brain in investing would have far more than 3.5...

On politico, they are reporting the GOP plan to balance the budget and offset their military spending hikes, the wall, infrastructure and tax cuts for the wealthy by gutting welfare, food stamps, privatizing Medicare, and veteran benefits. Great optics once again, the party of morons. I don't think...

Better yet, do the math on Happy Days which debuted in 1973 and took place in the mid 50's would be like doing a show today about the year 2000.

Why do people do dumb things like schedule weddings in October? Don't they know that's when posteseason baseball occurs? I've skipped out on 2 weddings I should have been at due to Cubs postseason games, but I just found out one that I absolutely cannot miss is going to be Oct. 21. If scheduling ho...
