Someone please let me know when Topher Grace or someone re-edits this season in a linear timeline. I haven’t the slightest idea what is happening. It’s just too ponderous for me.

I know how this one goes. When people call her out on how insensitive it is, they can say "oh, we're criticizing a woman for how she dresses now?! How petty!" and if they're lucky they can make that argument the headline for three days. Yep. Never mind how insensitive it appears. However,...

I'm watching Rogue One on Netflix while doing paperwork. That movie is by far the best movie in the Star Wars universe. It's not even close.

Re: Time and Turning 50

It's a hard slap in the face when people your age start passing away from things besides car accidents or suicide. I've had people I went to high school or college pass away from cancer, alcoholism, etc. I had my 25 year HS reunion last year and realized all 69 (nice) of our class is still alive. I...

Time and Turning 50

Next January I will be 50. I'm finding that time seems to be going by faster and faster. The year is 1/2 over already and I don't know where the time went.

I know there aren't a lot of older people who post here, but I'm wondering if anyone else is having this experience.

Re: Politics & Current Events

The "demographics as destiny" thing becomes less fun when you begin to see how far white conservatives are willing to go to maintain power. Voter suppression and gerrymandering were just the start. Now they're actively trying to remove Hispanic citizens from the country. The worse things ...

So this guy wants universal healthcare, doesn’t take PAC money, seems to care about the poor/middle class, and could sit at a table with Trudeau and Macron without playing the role of discheveled old slob. Seems intriguing, if for no other reason than he’s under 60. Anyone have good reasons why he ...

I think Cohen doesn't know as much as people think he does. Grifters gonna grift and not necessarily tell the big boss. Manifort on the other hand, I think he knows a lot. A guy like him does not work for free.

I know we're beyond the point where analysis of Trump & his army of idiots is repetitive, but I'm just struck by how closely this thread tracks w/ a conversation I had at a house party recently. Nichols is one of those #nevertrump'ers who sometimes annoys me because of his attempts at excusing ...
