Gonna disagree that being social with someone is as bad as having sex with them on the regular.

When they're a terrible person, sure it is.

Isn't it better if they're a terrible person? :dontknow:

https://twitter.com/Cubs/status/1277394046479216643?s=20 Two things I notice right away. 1. Teams can take up to 60 players but the Cubs are going with only 50 to start. 2. No Brandon Morrow. I believe most teams are under the 60? You can add a player without having to expose another to waivers. Mo...

https://twitter.com/passonjim/status/1274824479898664961?s=21 That’s...really impressive. For those that don’t want to do the math, this goes back to 1902. What’s as odd is that they only won 2 titles and reached only a handful of playoff appearances for 118 years of that stretch. Karma's a b1tch.

The Game Came across this today which was posted a couple of days ago on the anniversary. I remember watching this as a 13 year old and losing my mind. I watch the highlights a couple of times a year but this has some present day interviews with Steve Trout, Jody Davis, Sarge, Bobby Dernier that we...

Re: 80 game season with expanded playoffs, starting in July

I actually am with the owners in just one very specific respect - I don't see the draw in trying to cram in 114 games and extending the regular season another month past when it usually ends. Hopefully it lands in the 75-80 range with the full prorated salaries. I think they have all but admitted t...

Yeah, Uncut Gems... anybody see that coming? I was personally floored. Who would have guessed that the Joker's greatest crime would turn out to be shamelessly stealing Adam Sandler's Oscar? The Oscar he wasn’t even nominated for? Yeah, I liked the movie and thought Sandler was good but certainly do...

Re: General Cubs Chit-Chat

Latest Forbes report says Cubs are worth $3.2 Billion, not a bad return on spending $845 million in 2009. So why did we have to sit out this offseason free agency? There are many ways to answer your question, but the $3.2B figure isn't the best. It's not a "return," it's a valuation. A si...

as for mutations, selective pressure will always push it to become more virulent and less deadly . hospitalizing someone, or killing someone, or even making someone feel so bad that they have to stay at home is a poor method of spreading. and the strains that spread the best will win out in the end...
