Not only has Bryant borrowed his Grandma's love beads but he appears to have borrowed her left boob as well.

Nobody else thinks Bryant/Harper at a Nelly concert is odd - or is Nelly Mormon too?

Bit of a longshot with this demographic, but what the hell... 2 weeks in New Zealand (with a couple days in Sydney) starting this weekend. Re: This Thread is About Comics

Is there any other comic book artist/writer who comes even close to Lee in terms of popularity or celebrity? Nobody is even remotely close or will ever likely be again. He transcends the comic book industry. People who have never read a comic know who he is. Most people would be hard pressed to com...

Worked in the back office of an investment firm. There were long desks that had 3 workstations on either side. The guy that worked next to me would eat cereal at his desk every morning and would do so without closing his mouth when he was chewing. He was so loud that people one set of workstations a...

Three episodes into Maniac and I still don’t have any idea where it’s going. Very nice work by Jonah Hill so much so that I may h...

I have to wonder if this is fake news. I can't believe that Harper and Boras are going to make a choice without hearing all of the offers. Harper said he wants to get a record contract, so it's hard to believe he may be leaving $50 million on the table because he's friends with KB. It horsefeatheri...

Honestly, this might sound crazy to some, but I'd rather have Hamels over Quintana for the next two seasons. I'd totally be down with including Quintana as a sweetner to try to get a team to take Heyward in a trade package. You're right, that does sound crazy. I'm of the opinion that Heyward's Cub ...

What a dolt. Holmes for thinking he's talking about the A's President? Re: Baez impresses Baez

Matt Carpenter is having a more valuable season than Javier Baez, but that'd just make it even funnier to listen to the bitching if Baez wins MVP. Their WAR difference is .4 - that is pretty meaningless. while i wouldn't say half a win is meaningless, it's actually a difference of .8 I'm seeing 5.1...

I know RBIs are dumb but I still want Javy to get like 130 of them. He's really becoming Manny-esque at the plate. RBIs aren't dumb. Comparing players based on them is. I want my middle order hitters to rack up 120ish RBIs. I believe the whole "RBI's are dumb" is a mantra that's way overd...

Re: Non-prospect that had the best MLB career?

Mark Grace was a 24th round pick. I feel like the best answer is probably Piazza. Yes, but Grace was considered a highish prospect, I believe, a few years before he made the Cubs. I was thinking of someone who may have flown under the radar throughout their minor league career - which I guess is to...
