Re: soccer soccer soccer

I think Liverpool would make a run at him. But they paid around that for Sadio Mane. Hard for me to believe that pulisic could command a similar fee as mane. I hope he does go to the EPL so we can see him play more often and in that context. He's 5 years younger than Mane. Mane couldn't get a game ...

Re: soccer soccer soccer

So if Dortmund wanted to sell Pulisic, how much could they get? 40? 50? Tough to tell because the potential revenue generation for the first American megastar is still the great, soccer marketing unknown. https://twitter.com/ben_jata/status/845477909313847296 I think Liverpool would make a run at h...

Re: soccer soccer soccer

Leicester got lucky in the group stage draw with what was easily the weakest group, then they got a little lucky to miss the best three teams in the Round of 16. There won't be any hiding in the quarterfinals as the weakest team (besides them) is going to be Dortmund/Atletico/Monaco. Just for the f...

I don't think you could make a parody of a comic movie stupider than that trailer. I dont think it could get worse than that trailer.

Re: soccer soccer soccer

Would be too bad if Juventus can't keep dybala.

I think they are the best team in the world right now and don't see another club knocking them out of the UCL.

Selling Pogba and buying Higuain and Pjanic has worked well.

Bogdanovic is a RFA. I think he's maybe the best under 30 guy. Korver and Redick are both FA's too though. yeah...i was looking at redick watch this goofy ass FO sign igoudala or something because of course they would I've heard salary projections for Redick as high as $15mil/year. Lots of volatility between 6-8(with teams outside still having a chance too). No way to tell that yet.

Re: Bulls 2016-2017 Season

would they've been matched up with toronto? Boston as of now. Basically they likely would play Boston. And then Washington on Indy. I am not delusional about the Bulls. They are bad. But none of those teams is a prohibitive favorite against the Bulls. I believe they have a winning record against th...

Re: Bulls 2016-2017 Season

Can't wait to hear them talk about how the retool is looking good. This move is going to piss off Jimmy and Wade probably/hopefully. My guess is Wade opts out and Jimmy gets moved during the draft, to one of Philly, Phoenix, or Boston. If those events unfold as stated, it's hard for me to think of ...

They are a one goal home win over Sevilla from round of 8 in the UCL. This reminds me of all the comparisons of how LCFC winning the EPL translates to an American sports outcome. The fact that hundreds or thousands of people are following these orders at airports and borders is disheartening. If you were told to do this, would you go along with it, or make a stand? Of course. Trump is in office specifically because they Republicans can count on a solid base to show up no matter what. If Trump goes down in flames, it's easily spun as, "oh, he wasn't a real Republican/oh, he hijacked the GOP" and the GOP loyalists will happily lap it up and shrug it a...
