Lester
Hendricks
Archer
Arrieta
Gray

How realistic?

How realistic that we go with a 5 man rotation in the playoffs? I'd say about zero percent.

Re: Talk Arrieta here

Would be awesome and refreshing if Arrieta pitched half way decent, but I kind of agree with him as meatheady as it sounds. Was nice to see two guys trade blows. I was hoping to see Lackey throw at Bethancourt TBH but I'm not sure if Lackey is pitching tomorrow or if Bethancourt is even on the Padr...

Has it been confirmed by anyone yet that LaStella had nothing to do with it? I saw a tv program once where a loose seal bit off a young man's entire arm, so I don't think anything should be ruled out.

Re: Baez impresses Baez

If you look at the last 11 months instead of 12 he's at a .775 OPS/101 wRC+ which is plenty valuable with the defense/positional value he provides. I'm probably never going to want to just hand him an every day position, and I'd like to see him used as a trade chip before he hits arbitration and fo...

Re: I like Gold Gloves and I cannot lie: the Jason Heyward thread

I hope he doesn't opt out on us. I was critical of him after game 1 so I'll admit I'm pleasantly surprised by his uptick in performance. I still don't like the swing, but it's working for now. I still think he's gonna go into a slump and he hits too many groundballs, but at least he isn't striking ...

I feel like Lackey should either have not been included at all because I hate him or he shouldve been "Customer Service" or "Public Relations" or something else that he would obviously be terrible at.

Re: Is Szczur Gone & 40-Man Roster Discussion

I really hope we don't trade Happ, although if we do ideally it would be getting a SP back with upside. Happ just seems like the perfect guy to develop and have as insurance in case Zobrist starts to break down and miss time due to being old as horsefeathers (he's younger than me).

I think you would see Zobrist (or maybe even KB if Joe wants to be cheeky) at SS before TLS but I guess it all depends on the situation and who is available.

Hey, look, the first 30 seconds of this nearly gave me a panic attack, but then I settled into it. I really like parts of it. Its a 57 minute long track, so giving up quickly is expected. Check out starting around the 11 minute mark at least, maybe. http://www.stereogum.com/1921359/90s-kids-who-lov...
