Re: Discuss NLDS vs. Dusty Baker's Nationals

Our best players were great and won the game for us tonight. TBS sucks gigantic donkey dick, I had to restart my stream every half inning because it spazzed out every commercial break.

I think Lester is gonna show up and be lights out tomorrow. Let's hope! Go cubs go.

Re: Active Shooter(s) at the Las Vegas Strip

Bumpfire stocks are a such a horsefeathering joke of an accessory to be legal it's sickening. "They don't make a semiauto into an automatic" surrrrrreeee they don't, you just pull the trigger slightly, hold it to your shoulder and the gun fires automatically from there "BUT IT ISN'T A...

Re: How many teams in each league should make the playoffs?

Also, the one game WC setup is perfect. The games are absolutely must win and everyone involved knows it. It isn't a surprise. Nothing unfair about it at all. Is it unfair that a team gets to advance to the next round after only winning one game? No? Then it isnt unfair that your season can be over ...

Re: How many teams in each league should make the playoffs?

Lol if there is one event with stakes and another that is effectively just an exhibition you're going to lose any semblance of a national audience and probably a lot of fans who feel (correctly) that their team is playing for peanuts. Why remove the gravitas from the tournament the way it is set up ...

Re: Discuss NLDS vs. Dusty Baker's Nationals

I've been to Nats park several times. It's pretty decent. Good place to catch a game, and I will be there if this series goes to 5. Not much to write home about, but Nats park is an alright place to catch a baseball game. I do like how almost all the fans have to leave down the same 4-5 lane street ...

Re: which sport's title is hardest to repeat?

I mean great coaching, constantly pulling in the best recruits, and returning 75% of your championship caliber roster means the real blue bloods don't lurk far below the top 10 for long, but it's still rare to see any of them go back to back. Except for Bama being Bama, it hasn't happened much in re...

Re: which sport's title is hardest to repeat?

I'm on my phone so I can't see the options, but I'd vote college football if I could. It's almost guaranteed that you're gonna lose 25%-35% of your team between years. You can barely afford to lose a single game throughout the season if you want to stand a chance to make the playoff. Lose two and yo...

Re: General Cubs Chit-Chat

I have both sheetz and wawa available to me. Gotta love the mid Atlantic region.

Sheetz is a better version of wawa all-around, but wawa does have bitchin sandwiches.

Re: General Cubs Chit-Chat

Sheetz food is actually pretty solid. I know, gas station food is something to be leery of, but they have a whole kitchen setup. Its not just roller grill hot dogs. Their mozzarella sticks are pretty good, and I think it's kind of their signature thing. You can get hot sandwiches, subs, cold subs, b...

When she first revealed herself as prego to Jaime I thought she was lying to manipulate him. The way they had her and tyrion interact made me think her pregnancy might be legit.

Auburn would probably welcome any kind of new deal, regardless of how sinister or shortsighted it may be, if it meant they could somehow run Saban out of Tuscaloosa.

This guy just seems like he is all about the highest bidder and/or "what can you do for me?" Him as the keystone seems like pretty tenuous footing to make allegations and launch investigations on. But it's ncaa, so they obviously can't be bothered to give a horsefeathers about doing things...

I mean if they were north of the wall they could conceivably make a pit stop in Winterfell before going back to Dragonstone and King's Landing. I don't have any reason to think they will, I was just speculating about whether they would.

Wait, are Jon and Dany going to swing by winterfell before they return to the south?

Lots of reunions could happen there if they do.

I don't think she is pregnant, but I wouldn't mind the prophecy meaning she will only ever give birth to 3, effectively putting a 9 month limit on cersei lannister's life.

It would be pretty badass if, in the next episode, the a-team is fighting a bitchton of undead and it isn't looking great for Jon, but then one of the dragons comes roaring in out of no where and scorches the entire area, including Jon. And the camera lingers on the inferno.. And Jon leaps out of th...
