Could've just signed Cain for a quarter of that and won the division by almost 10 games last season

Re: RE: Re: "Time makes fools of us all" - The Kyle Schwarber Thread

So basically we're at 'I don't like the stats' and then 'well I assume there was someone better that we should have traded for'. Which also conveniently ignores the point of...who are you trading to get these upgrades after you expertly identified that weak players that still held enough value to g...

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel

I've seen it 3 times, twice in the theater. The 2nd time I pulled out my phone and recorded that crazy ass lighthouse sequence, just so that I could watch it over and over. That part of the movie really floored me. Loved it.

the appearance of the boner sticking out of his right and then left thigh, the backwards EASTON, and the background, I am guessing these were just two different photos reversed for the meeting in the middle effect. Also congrats and I will withhold my commentary on the concept of gender reveals I'm...

So I'm not sure how many of you will recall, but... A while back I posted that my wife and I had suffered our 3rd miscarriage and they thought we should consider genetic testing and yadda yadda... Well, we didn't. We simply tried again. Coming in 3 months (totally freaking the horsefeathers out) And...

He homered today and his wOBA dropped lol But seriously Vogelbach has always been a good hitter. For a few seasons there it appeared that he wouldnt reach his power potential but he was still posting elite BBK, swing and miss was never a plaguing issue, and everyone knew the power would eventually c...

Re: RE: Re: Bullpen shakeup, Carl's Jr optioned to Iowa

That’s not surprising at all. The only thing surprising is that it didn’t happen before yesterday’s game. He has sucked in every appearance, struggles to throw strikes, appears to have shot confidence, and was just forced to change his delivery overnight. No matter what you think of Carl long term,...

Re: RE: Re: 2018-19 NBA Thread

Westbrook pulled off a triple twenty. Only Wilt had ever done it. Yet it feels cheap as horsefeathers because its Westbrook. Why does it feel cheap? Going 20-20-20 is insane. I didn't watch the game. It doesn't feel cheap to me , but rather, according to a lot of comments I've seen online, and on a...

Should be a team wide mandate: no sliding into 1st. Really excited for KB this year. He is fully capable of 300/400/600.

According to Cubs Insider, KB had never hit an oppo HR on a knee-high fastball in MLB before yesterday. If he has found his oppo stroke again he could be in line for a 2nd MVP.

Re: Chicago Bears offseason

Feels like a pretty horsefeathers trade. Isn't it likely that a comp pick would have been significantly better? I don't see us having much cap room next FA so I imagine we would actually be in line to receive one.
