Re: Bombing at Ariana Grande concert in UK

was there just a picture of an executed man on the previous page? I thought I cropped enough of it out, but apparently not. It's time for the NSBB pile-on. Let the games begin! Or, here's a thought, you could cut down on the horsefeathers attitude on top of being a sick horsefeathers and just drop ...

I'm just saying I saw that news this morning and I thought somebody's first comment is going to be about how this effects their wittle bitty supewhewo movie. well, it's not like he knows Snyder or his family. 23 people got blown up in Manchester, too. everything is awful all the time, but we still ...

It would be equally amusing to see Ball fall to the Bulls as it would be for them to not draft him there because he's not their guy.

Wutever. The Israelis need western help the way a sod farm in Palm Springs needs water - they'll keep sharing. It will be curious as to whether or not the US intelligence community shares everything with Trumpet, however You don't get it. Those Israeli operatives are dead now. Russian media publish...

So it took Trump effectively 100 days to completely destroy our relationships with Europe and Israel, in an effort to better our relationship with Russia. This Intel leak is the worst thing Trump has done for our country on a global scale. It was technically legal, but that will be the last Intel we...

Re: Stanley Cup Playoffs

How scared is the NHL of the possibility of Edmonton, Nashville and/or Ottawa making the SCF? 8 of the last 9 SCF have had Chicago, NY, Boston or Pittsburgh involved and the other one was LA vs NYC metro (which had terrible ratings). The NHL is probably thrilled at the potential of Canadian teams i...

Re: Bears offseason

The mock drafts and post draft hot takes are exceedingly meaningless, so pointing to them to justify feeling one way or the other about what the Bears did yesterday is pointless. If Trubisky is a hit, then it will have been worth the picks. If he's not, the entire draft was a waste. That means at be...

Another good result for US Youth soccer last night as the U17s defeated Mexico in the CONCACAF championships group stage (they were behind Costa Rica and Mexico in the ranking so didn't get seeded), which is a huge step towards qualifying for the U17 world cup.

Re: General Cubs Chit-Chat

The 2016 Cubs set a lot of offensive franchise records last year, highest walk rate, highest fWAR, but the scoring of 808 runs was just 8th all time for the franchise in the World Series era. This year's team is currently averaging 5.42 runs per game. At a whole season, that would project to 878 run...

The fascinating thing about people's perception of Heyward to me is that somehow they think he has been and always will be awful offensively, like he's never provided value there, so there's no reason to think he ever will.
