Re: College Football - Week 12 (Nov. 18)

OMC, I may not have any better info than you, but from what I hear Jeff Long from Arkansas was fired for just cause because of some stupid financial blunders with the current stadium expansion. Bielema probably doesn’t make it to the Missouri game once they are bowl ineligible after Miss State. FWIW...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I believe most people in Alabama would vote to secede if it were possible. They don't share the values vested in the Declaration of Independence. The same is probably true for Mississippi. It's the only other state I've spent a lot of time in that is similar to Alabama. Only if Oxford became it’s o...

I like how Judge Moore says he has never even met the accuser, completely denying all charges, but then goes on to defend old dudes dating young girls throughout history. Seriously, going with the Humphrey Bogart/Lauren Bacall defense.

I like Georgia to roll. Auburn and their QB are no match for that D. Plus Auburn’s D hasn’t seen a running attack like Georgia.

I’m all in on Miss State now. BAMA always has trouble with running QBs and Fitzgerald is solid.

Top 3 team most likely to go down tomorrow?
I have a weird feeling that Miss State is going to give BAMA all they want.

The comments from the state auditor are amazing even by southern GOP standards.

Polling was already fairly tight. Turnout was going to be disproportionate before this. The AL GOP would be better off with a write in.

I get that sentiment as well, but one thing that drives me nuts is when people criticize a group for being closed minded and blanket stereotyping by doing the the exact same thing themselves.

Poor white trash that blame everyone but themselves for their lot in life. Personal accountability? Nah. No wonder their son died of a heroin overdose at age 32 . I get the sentiment, but come on now, that's a bridge too far. Bridge too far is certainly one way to characterize that. That post is di...

Winston is so immature and Evans somehow wasn’t ejected for this. https://twitter.com/firstdownfr/status/927266020993138688 And their HC Cutter didn’t even take off his headset, much less say anything to either of them. Bucs gonna Buc. Oh yeah, Saints look goooood. The game shouldn’t have been that...

OK Maine, WTF is Charleston Chew? how do you make it to adulthood without ever having heard of charleston chew? i'm not sure if i've ever had one or not (i think probably at some point), but yeah I think maybe they were more popular in the 80's. I bought one after just about every little league gam...

I don’t know about any of you, but on the day Trump finally does resign or is impeached I’m watching Hannity. He may just melt into gelatinous mass right on camera. Which is quite surprising considering how bad their previous five or so drafts were. They only have like 4 guys on the team from their 2011-2015 drafts or something like that. Atrocious. I’ve thought the same way about Loomis/Payton in the draft and with FA signings. Ever since they brought in Irel...

Kamara is what the Saints have missed lately. Perfect fit in this offense. What a draft the last two years for NO. Which is quite surprising considering how bad their previous five or so drafts were. Forget the contents of the phone call. I'm sure it was hamhanded and awful, but there's some tiny amount of wiggle room that a person in that level of emotional distress could take something the wrong way and be upset. The pathological lying that brought it to light is worse, and so is the story of...

Re: Week 8 - Single digit passing attempts team vs. Old Man McGee

Saints have looked really good so far. The defense is much improved with the defensive backfield actually being the strength. Lattimore at CB is close to being an elite CB and Breaux returns next week on the other side. Cam Jordan is having an All Pro type season. Ingram and Kamara at RB have the of...

Apparently I'm the only one who thinks the Cubs guess too much. But let me just say I have no doubts the offense will be better next year and the team will be one of the best teams in baseball again. I just thought this my be a way they could improve. Baseball players guess. You said yourself you o...
