Re: Politics & Current Events

This country is horsefeathers until the idiots stop voting GOP. Gerrymandering helps too. Maybe deep down the GOP leadership knows they are horsefeathers in the very near future and are hell bent these last few years and next few and stuffing this gawd awful crap on the American public. This is why...

Re: Politics & Current Events

Sasse has been trying to rebrand himself as a voice of reason from the Right, which is remarkable considering we have videotape. After the deficit reports from after the tax cuts and now the midterm elections, I'm sure he is trying to reclaim the Fiscal Conservative mantle as well.

Re: College Football - Week 11 (Nov. 10)

If you’ve got 13-0 Clemson, 12-0 ND, 12-1 Mich/OSU, 12-1 WVU/Oklahoma and 12-1 Georgia, Bama isn’t getting in. They’d be ranked over a 1 loss Notre Dame and probably a 1-loss Washington State but that’s it. Bama only got in last year because Ohio State lost twice and then beat Wisconsin in the Big ...

Re: College Football - Week 11 (Nov. 10)

The is not a scenario that exists where a 1 loss BAMA team is kept out of the playoff. They will find any rationale they can to put them in.

Re: NFL Week 10

Oh no, have to settle for the literally unstoppable team you already had, I guess Unstoppable? Come on now. We’re not actually upset about losing Dez because you can’t really miss something you never had. It’s just “sweet we got Dez...oh...damn. Oh well” I'm extremely salty about Carolina being pro...

Re: Politics & Current Events

Because he's not just saying that: he very clearly goes on a classic old man ramble where he's talking about white voters ostensibly on the Left basically needing to warm up to the idea of voting for PoC...as if Obama and every other PoC who has held office on the state or national level didn't exi...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I am far from a Bernie Bro, but how is anything he said being racist or an apologist for racists? He was just stating a fact, that there are parts of America that have still have a mental hang up about voting for a non white person, but that will hopefully change soon. What’s the issue with having ...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I know im late to it but Biden really, really reminds me of a creep. Ever seen him around a woman? I’ll post pictures/videos later if i need to prove my point, but his behavior in front of/towards women has given me pause several times and i wouldnt be too surprised if there are #metoo skeletons in...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I think it's been vastly and lazily overstated how many voters didn't vote for Clinton or voted for Trump simply because she was Hillary Clinton, or even simply because she was a woman, and that that set her aside from other Democrats who could have run. The Democrats were running with, in the eyes...

Re: Politics & Current Events

Crazy talk. Any Democrat not named Hillary Clinton would have beaten Trump. Not entirely her fault, but she was a uniquely terrible candidate in 2016 and STILL got 3 million more votes. Biden would have crushed Trump. I gotta admit that I get a kick out of the ongoing narrative that all of those vo...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I remember the big run-up to the VP debates in '08 and everyone was worried that Biden would come off smug and condescending considering Palin's lightweight background, etc. But I'll be damned he actually pulled it off. Not sure that would have been the same case for Trump; but I agree he very well...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I wonder what Trump (or his supporters) imagines the end game to be at the border. That the refugees will be mowed down in a blaze of 15,000 AR-15’s? Everyone in the world knows this is a ploy that has no chance of working. This “caravan” is not turning around or dispersing You are giving those hal...

Re: College Football - Week 10 (Nov. 3)

It will screw Michigan over that’s for sure so don’t lose Michigan will make it if they win out and won't if they don't. Yeah I think LSU loses this week and 1 of Michigan or OSU wins out and gets in and it’s Bama, Clemson, ND, Mich/OSU ultimately Do not be surprised if Georgia beats BAMA in the SE...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I think there are going to be many good surprises next Tuesday. I also think Trump and the GOP are not going to let the election results stand alone and contest many, many results knowing full well there is no evidence to support their accusations. This will also coincide with Mueller's findings of...

Re: Politics & Current Events

this is basically exactly what regimes have traditionally done to justify stuff like concentration camps and genocide, including Nazi Germany during the 1930s. It is EXACTLY the type of propaganda used by Nazi Germany. It also mirrors the hate used against Irish and Italians in another sad chapter ...
