Re: Politics & Current Events

I was listening to MSNBC on Sirius a few hours ago and one of the legal analysts thought that this indictment was a shot across the bow because most of these people are never going to be brought to justice. He said Mueller knows that so he’s not going to divulge any more than he has to. But now he’...

For my part, I will never, ever overlook Aubrey Plaza. Wow.

There is absolutely nothing useful about Asik. He is completely broken down.

Greg Monroe might be signed by the Pels as soon as tomorrow. Someone have a thumbnail scouting report on Mirotic? From what I have seen, the Pels might actually be better constructed after these two moves.

Re: 2017-18 NFL Playoffs

A Brees and Brady Super Bowl would have been a cool storyline. By a cool storyline I'm sure you meant our only chance for a competitive Super Bowl. New England will probably sleepwalk through the easiest QB schedule in playoffs history now. But, if the price was that Minnesota moment, I guess I'll ...

Gen McCaffery, who by coincidence is in Hawaii, was just on CNN awhile ago. He described it as a similar alert to a storm warning, but that he was struck by how no one seemed to panic or even be bothered much by it.

James Franco forced an actress to do two nude scenes which she signed a contract and was paid to do. WHAT A MONSTER Claims like these will water down and derail this movement if they keep up. Agreed. Eh. I wouldn't say he "collapsed". He was walking off the field and went down probably to avoid his team having to call a timeout or get a delay of game penalty. He looked pretty under control to me. Also, "obviously concussed" is a severe overstatement. You don't have the abili...

Really? To where? Whoever is willing to bilk their taxpayers into paying for a palace like Atlanta's. Supposedly BoA Stadium is "outdated" at 20 years old. I don’t see any way that happens. also they just pumped a [expletive] of money into renovations like 2 years ago. there’s nothing wro...

What a win. Saints and Falcons win next week and the NFC title games goes through the Dome. Playoff experienced Falcons vs. Nick Foles. Drew Brees vs. Case Keenum. Vikings beat the Saints in Week 1, but that was with Sam Bradford and Dalvin Cook. This is what I've been expecting to happen since the...

Re: 2017-18 NFL Playoffs

If Carolina can't win a playoff game in which Cam Newton leads the offense to 26 points on top of making 2 perfect TD throws (that his cadre of no-name receivers failed to catch), then they're just never going to win it all. The good news is that there's a 50/50 chance the next owner moves the team...

Maybe Trump really is playing the long con. When the treason charges come he’s going to give the insanity plea and show his tweets as evidence. “Hey, you all said I was crazy.” You kid, but there might be a little truth in that. I can see a scenario where Kushner and Don Jr take the fall and Trump ...
