I think Auburn pulls it out.

And then Alabama “Ohio State”s their way into the playoff as a one-loss non-champion

I dunno, who would they have beaten if Auburn beats them? What’s their best win? LSU?

https://twitter.com/darrenheitner/status/933355947451469824 I’ll probably get all of these wrong, but my predictions: - Mullen to TN - Jeremy Pruitt to MS State - Jimbo to A&M - Kelly to Florida Auburn wins Iron Bowl: - Norvell to Arkansas Auburn loses Iron Bowl: - Malzahn to Arkansas - Venables...

Hardly shocking, but it’s official that Sumlin is fired. They are letting him coach the final game against LSU.

Re: College Football - Week 13 (Nov. 25)

Clay Travis: 1. I’m told Texas A&M and Kevin Sumlin have a fundamentally broken relationship and Sumlin will be leaving no matter what happens against LSU. Sumlin will likely have several suitors in major college football before all is said and done. 2. Jimbo Fisher to Texas A&M is likely to...

Re: College Football - Week 13 (Nov. 25)

Jim Mora fired. Kevin Sumln is their next coach Doubt it. They'll swing for the fences at someone like Chip Kelly, and then when they miss, they'll go for someone who is much cheaper than Sumlin will be. Well Sumlin’s about to be fired, so he’s definitely going to be cheaper than he normally would....

I have the same issue, but their menu is so extensive that surely you can find something you and someone else can agree on. I generally don’t trust places with large menus. No way they can be good at making so many items. The fewer items a place has on their menu, the better it is. If a place is st...

Re: College Football - Week 12 (Nov. 18)

Interesting rumor going around that Willie Taggert will go to Ole Miss if the impeding sanctions don’t include an additional year bowl ban. The AD at Ole Miss was the AD who hired him at WKU, so they have a tight relationship. He allegedly isn’t all that happy with the situation currently at Oregon ...

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel

Between Ravenous , The Proposition and Brimstone , I'm genuinely surprised Guy Pearce didn't also somehow manage to end up in Bone Tomahawk . I’m surprised that Ravenous was ever even made. It’s such an odd movie. I guess I’ll have to agree with you about IB being a WWII movie because if someone as...

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel

btw, I’ve been very disappointed at the lack of WWI movies lately. I figured there’d be a rise due to the centennial and all. I suppose Americans just don’t have near the same connection to WWI as WWII.

Well, no, because Inglourious Basterds exists (yes, it's still a WW2 movie) and is better than both of those, but I can also only think of, like, 3 other American WW2 movies in that timeframe besides the ones already mentioned. Ya I suppose there aren’t that many. Hmmm top of my head Hacksaw Jim Du...

It's very Trumpian (or at least very Tim Tebow-ian); most of the money he himself generates will come from the insane diehards who have glommed onto him no matter what because of his extremist views. You can probably chalk up close to a good $100 million of HR's take to that audience, which, in a l...

Re: Movie Thread 2: The Sequel

Ok, so I finished that movie I started drunkenly watching last night. It’s a Dutch movie called Brimstone. It’s on Showtime. I guess it’s a good movie... Although I’m not really sure what to think of it except that it’s easily the most savage Western I’ve ever seen. It’s definitely not for everyone...
