Re: Politics & Current Events

I don't want Biden but I do want to get a progressive elected at some point so its probably worth considering some reasons why he lost besides that it was a media and establishment conspiracy. I saw some dope post on twitter that the next progressive candidate should immediately declare the media as...

Re: Politics & Current Events

A lot of people whom I have respect for are showing their asses on twitter today. 0 introspection on why Bernie failed to win the primary. they should really be honest about the electorate collectively realizing on March 3rd how horsefeathers awesome Joe Biden is https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ESdSDIK...

Re: Video Game Thread

Apparently a demo for the FF7 remake has dropped. Start the hype. I played the demo and it was so good I almost cried. the camera angles were throwing me off at first but the gameplay and graphics are phenomenal. bummer that the remake ends when they leave midgar. Just seemed like a really fun way ...

Re: CDC Info on COVID-19 (Corona virus)

Well, this has proven my company's "Business Continuity Plan" was theatre. Like many companies, the plan here is that everyone works from home with their own personal devices. Only now are they realizing that many people either 1) don't have a device or place at home where they can work ef...

Oh no, she voted for Regan 40 years ago, we better scorn her and then self-immolate on super Tuesday and blame her for it.

Re: Politics & Current Events

Disclosure: I am planning to vote for Bernie in the primary. It's funny to see Bernie supporters call Warren a snake for not bowing out on behalf of Bernie. The hate they have for someone who is probably the most politically aligned with them, is telling. r/CTH is calling her Trotsky and asking wher...

Re: CDC Info on COVID-19 (Corona virus)

That said, I am thanking my lucky stars that -- so far at least -- infection seems to be mild for most children, and without complications for pregnant women. I have a two year old, and my wife is due at the end of April. This would be personally terrifying if it was hitting small children as badly...

Re: Video Game Thread

Anyone play Slay the Spire? I played it on gamepass then ended up buying it for switch. It's a card game. Highly recommend. Yep...I was quite obsessed with it for a while. Great game. Love this game. It's a time annihilator - brought my switch on a recent business trip and was actually disappointed...

I found the tearing of the speech kinda, meh. I do find it funny that all the MAGA chuds are calling for their clutching pearls and fainting couches over a breach in decorum.

Re: Chicago Bears offseason

Both 2nds gets you close to mid round value. But they won't really have anything that can get them the value of a backend 1st. So if they did both seconds to move up to the end of the first round, they could expect to get something else back too in a 2 for 2 swap Maybe they do one of the 2nds from ...

Re: Video Game Thread

The map system is confusing as hell. I have no idea where I've been or what's still unexplored I honestly had zero issues with that. Maybe it’s because I just came from BL3, where it was ultra clear (as the map actively “de-dogs” as you traverse it). I’m only on the first planet and couldn’t tell y...

I hesitate to post this because I know this is a giant meatball take and that these press conferences are ultimately meaningless. But it's bizarre to see them effusive with their praise about things that were objectively terrible. There is a middle ground between trashing players publicly and saying...

and this team is still maybe 5-6 missed plays from him from being still in wild card contention. I think about this a lot. How much different is this team really playing compared to last year? They went from a last place schedule to a first place schedule. A lot of their games were close last year ...
