Re: Bears offseason

I'm on the Jimmy G bandwagon (as long as it's not the #3 pick)! He's got the handsomeness I'm looking for in a QB.

Re: Bears offseason

I'm kind of torn on him as well. I expect he'll cut down on the running significantly in the NFL. Just looking at the numbers this year, he wasn't an effective runner (3.8 ypc). It's hard for me to project how these spread QBs will do in the NFL. He took so many snaps yesterday from the shotgun and ...

Re: Video Game Thread

I used to love Open World games - they were by far my favorite type of game. Now, I get burned out on these games so quickly. I got Skyrim SE when it came out since I never played the original. I played a lot but now I'm to the point where my guy is pretty powerful, the dungeons are blending togeth...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I have no idea what he's going to do once president. I don't get the sense he has any deeply held beliefs beyond self-advancement. I doubt we see much follow through on many of his wildest campaign promises. That's not necessarily a good thing as he may focus on new and even worse ideas.

Without question the most dramatic sporting event I have ever watched. My anxiety was so high it was almost painful to watch at the end. It was really satisfying to see them stumble on the threshold, then battle back and win anyway.

Great team.

Do you guys know what the deal is with the wrigley bars tonight? Cover charges still? On one hand, it's a road game...on the other, it's horsefeathering game 7 I thought someone said a page or 2 back that there were $100 covers The best option if you are on a budget is likely to go to Southport or ...

Re: Video Game Thread

Considering there is a poise stat that no one can figure out, I'd say it's pretty safe to say hyperarmor and poise are two different things. As for the rest of it, just make it like DS2, poise worked in that game pretty well, and by the end, it was a very well-balanced pvp experience. And it didn't...

Apparently they are.... http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-10-17-dark-souls-3-patch-will-finally-change-the-games-poise Holy.......wow, this is huge. It's going to be like a whole new game. Some of the enemies are only difficult because you can't poise through attacks. Looks like I'll need that...
