Re: This Thread is About Comics

neither of these guys are worthy to smell stan lee's farts (or even in the same galaxy as his accomplishments in the industry) but i would say either alan moore or todd mcfarlane. maybe jim lee (he's not as douche-y as the other two).

it's too derivative of the simpsons and south park, they hit you over the head with their dumbed-down humor/gags and, if we're being honest with ourselves, some of the gags are in bad taste (rape jokes, etc.).

In all of the years I’ve lived in Brooklyn, this was the largest voter turnout I’ve seen. Usually in and out in 5-10 minutes, took close to 45 minutes this morning. Lines were snaking all over the place. Must’ve been hundreds of people inside a gym waiting to vote.

3 times this week I've come across a national writer referring to Mitch as the Blake Bortles of the North, which I get on some level but I really think its premature to turn him into a national joke like Bortles is at times. https://media1.tenor.com/images/95e96aebee711997c4827eee68c4c71b/tenor.gif...

Read today that RDR2 made $725 million in its opening sales weekend By comparison, Infinity War made $640 million Ok. I mean, it's definitely impressive, but it's kinda weird to compare a $60 game to movie ticket sales. there's been a few articles comparing its worldwide retail sales number ($725 m...
