Re: Politics & Current Events

so here's the question, what does Beto's future hold? Had he been in a state where he had a realistic chance at beating a republican such as Wisconsin, we could be talking about future endeavors. But does a state rep and failed senate bid have enough power to push anything nationally? He raised $70...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I think yesterday's outcome is as close to a best-case scenario as the Democrats could have hoped for. In Alabama, it turns out the Trump did fire up the blue hairs and knuckle draggers. I didn't help that Democrats don't have a functioning party apparatus. As for O'Rouke, Gillum, and Abrams, I'm s...

Yeah, the gap is growing. CNN has cruz up by 150,000 votes with 70% reporting. CNN not calling it yet ABC had like 78% and the gap was than 150k. CNN is holding off on calling anything because there are less than 20% reporting in some blue counties Not just some blue counties, but Houston, Dallas, ...

Re: Politics & Current Events

I haven’t been on the politics here in a while, but what are the early thoughts on Beto running for President should he lose today. My amateur opinion is having a guy known primarily for losing a senate seat to a ghoul that nobody likes would be a less than ideal candidate for president. He will ha...

Seattle actually makes sense for Chatwood, and we could probably get Dipoto drunk to make the trade.

Re: According to Kaplan, KB turned down 200 Mill Extension

It makes sense that they offer an extension to KB right now. It'll be harder to sign him once they offer an even larger amount to Harper. I wonder how much the Nats offered to Harper. Did that ever leak? I know they've tried multiple times to sign him to an extension. Its also why Boras won't let h...

We knew this was coming, but thought we had another year. Still pretty sad about it but it was a great run. Easily my favorite Nat being a Texan and all.

he hasn't played much for the senior side yet - I love his attitude even if he is crazy optimistic. Hopefully he can find minutes maybe even some before PSG leads 4-0. I think most have realized that for every 10 legit prospects we have we can hope for 1-3 make it to the Nats. He reminds me of a yo...

I’ve heard nothing, but have there been any locker room issues since Russell cheated on his wife and got divorced? All of the wives seem to be pretty close. Just random speculation. I’ve seen nothing but players and coaches saying good things about him pretty much since he’s been up in terms of loc...
