Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

My dream scenario tomorrow, no shot at it happening.....

7) Bamba
Trade 22 and Valentine for 14 and Faried.
14) Have Knox or Miles Bridges sitting there to take.
Trade future 2nd or even 2 of them to move back into 30-40 range
Draft Bruce Brown, Khyri Thomas, or preferrably Jakob Evans with the pick.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Reading a bunch of pre draft gossip saying MPJ and Trae are dropping, with Carter and Gilgeous-Alexander moving up. Bamba reiterated today he's got tons of interest in us.

This is going to be fun. From 2 on, this is an absolute crapshoot.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Complete dream scenario, trade Portis, 22, next year's top 1 protected 1st for Parsons and 4.

Draft Bamba at 4, MPJ at 7.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

The issue is this: Bamba, who I love, or Porter, who I'd be perfectly happy with, could be there at 7. In fact, I figure one of them will be. So, do you trade up anyway? I don't think so. Taking on 2 years of Chandler Parsons at 25 mill each season? No. Just no. Especially not if you ALSO are sendin...

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

I like Carter a lot. If he's the guy at 7, I'm fine with it. He's not my first choice, he's in the 5-7 range for me. But, I'd prefer Porter or Bamba, just for the upside.

I want an extra pick somehow. And I want to either move up to 14 or 15, from 22. Which seems very doable.

No, not prospecting lol. I'm not here screaming "You suck!!!!!!!!!" We're all going to hit and miss on guys, just part of it. Your opinion is valuable. What I was talking about, is that you've mentioned that, on occasion, your internet demeanor needs a bit of work. I'm not implying Ademan ...

Re: 2018 Actual MLB Draft Day(s) Thread

Just so I'm super clear for the future - what's the process for owning up? Do I have to mention the big Ryan Kellogg miss more often? What should I be sayng about Rucker post-draft outside of shucks and good luck? Is there a credit/debit system and what earns credit talking about prospects? It seem...

Re: International Free Agency Thread 2017-2018

Weird. I wonder if they’ll resign him at a later date? I doubt it. That signing period is over. And we've got our money committed to this one already. If he failed a physical, got caught with PED's, or whatever else, renegotiating would have made much more sense to have kept him in the same year th...

Re: 2018 Actual MLB Draft Day(s) Thread

https://twitter.com/mdgonzales/status/1008427454506176514?s=21 I wonder what Roederer is angling for there. Have to imagine the Cubs knew the number necessary and were going to meet it, along with 4 years future tuition at UCLA. With the lack of overslots in this draft class, it's actually really s...

WTF?????? Or I can ask it in another way...... WTF??????

That's gotta be a hot gun. But, even if it is, we've known he's obviously a guy with serious upside. This puts it in some perspective anyway.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Trading down would suck. If anything, they need to move up. If we found our way into 4, I'd take Bamba, or Bagley, if he's still there. At 7, you have a chance at getting an elite guy, but the odds lower obviously..... My final 7 is Ayton, Bagley, Doncic, Bamba, then MPJ, JJJ, and Carter- with the o...

Re: 2018 Actual MLB Draft Day(s) Thread

Brayden Fisher signed for under 500k, Justin Jarvis signed for a bit over 300k. Fisher in the 3rd as an UNDER SLOT HS arm, same with Jarvis in the 4th, would have made me very happy.

Uelmen goes 6.2 6 0 0 0 5. After a rough start, he's settling in pretty well.

So, this is one of the worst takes I've ever seen. Writer advocated Reds trading Votto, Cueto, and Bailey in 2008.....

For Joe Blanton.
