Re: Music Thread 2.0

Peter Tork of the Monkees has died at age 77.

My parents took me to see the Monkees and Herman's Hermits when I was a kid. I wanted to go because I'd watched the reruns on Nick so much. First concert I ever went to.

Re: The Bryce is Right, Bitch

Prediction - Bryce 10/320-350 to the Phillies by sometime tonight. this is absolutely 10000000% happening and he is definitely 10000000000000000% not signing with the cubs and i'm definitely not trying to jinx anything in a reverse sort of way If this post was by Duke...mayyyyyybe it has some sway.

Re: Politics & Current Events

But we cannot do it all unless we find massive sources of revenue above and beyond taxing the 1%. Without specific numbers in hand how do you know this to be true? I'm sure you look at it as being realistic...but it's really just setting the goals too low. I don't want a candidate to tell me that w...

Re: Politics & Current Events

There's a need to prioritize. Even if you combine AOC's income tax with Warren's wealth tax, it still wouldn't provide enough funds to pay for: Medicare for all Green New Deal Free college tuition Free childcare etc. I admire a candidate who is willing to say that we have to make choices and priori...

Re: General Chit-Chat thread

For nearly two decades at the Grand Canyon, tourists, employees, and children on tours passed by three paint buckets stored in the National Park's museum collection building, unaware that they were being exposed to radiation. Although federal officials learned last year that the five-gallon contain...

ROFL Trump is so horsefeathering stupid. In his announcement of a National Emergency he said he "didn't need to" declare an emergency, he just wanted to "do it much faster".

Gee I wonder if that'll be brought up on court. So horsefeathering dumb.
