Re: John Mallee

Harping on Bryant's hangup sometimes when it comes to changeups like it's something that a different hitting coach would address makes no sense. Like, it seems to be complaining like the Cubs haven't noticed this, or likely haven't tried any number of approaches to improve Bryant's approach in that...

Re: Food Monstrosities

Has anyone else had a chance to try these "bleeding" veggie burgers that have rolled out within the last year? I've tried the Beyond Burger and was really impressed; if I hadn't know it was a veggie burger I would have just assumed it was someone's kinda herb-y take on a regular meat burge...

Yeah, a sandwich; not a dumb single piece of bread with horsefeathers piled on top of it.

On the one hand, a tweet for every occasion. On the other hand, it sucks that is ultimately a roundabout way of endorsing the idea that criticizing military top brass is off limits or over the line. horsefeathers those guys. Of course, they don't really care about criticizing top military brass. Th...

Re: John Mallee

- they are an inconsistent offense. They strike out a lot. Despite winning a WS they went into extended hitting droughts in all 3 playoff years. It's like you don't know how playoff baseball works. The Indians last year went 2, 2, 4, 1, 3 in the ALCS and 6, 1, 1, 7, 2, 3 in the WS before Game 7. So...

Because let’s face it. This team will live or die with Rizzo Bryant Russell Willy Baez etc. The team will live and die by how its best hitters (and Baez) do? HOLY horsefeathers, YOU CRACKED THE horsefeathering CODE. Way to take the post out of context and make a stupid inflammatory statement. Good ...

I don't know if it belongs here or the TV thread, but Hulu just released a feature-length documentary called Too Funny to Fail that's all about the disaster that was the Dana Carvey Show . It always blows my mind the murder's row of talent they had working on it and how spectacularly and quickly the...

Interesting...I actually rather enjoyed the movie. I don't think it's a bad movie; it just could have been something really interesting and maybe even great instead of a very by the book biopic. Though I find method acting like this to be bizarre and annoying...and I definitely don't think the doc ...

I'd be curious to see this because I think the movie was a trainwreck it sounds like the stuff behind the scenes were an even bigger trainwreck, but I feel bad that Carrey, then and now, clearly looks at this as this very personal project he just kn...
