Re: It’s not me, it’s Yu

Is it because they can’t diagnose the issue that he just needs a prolonged amount of rest (like until spring training)?

Or, is surgery an option and he and they are doing everything possible to avoid it?

What’s the team option for 2019 on Hamels? Would he be interested in a 2 year deal?

Re: Regular Season Rumors

Geez, it appears we're truly bin hunting. I know our system is horsefeathers, but we've got the ability to add Wheeler and Herrera as well. I want Theo to be scorched earth, but I don't think he is. I agree that the system is horsefeathers from a positional player perspective - since most are in th...

I’d hope not. He’s still owed ~$50 million.

Maybe that’s a scenario where the more the Cubs give up, the more KC eats his contract and vice versa.

It's an extremely cautious timeline, which I am fine with, but this injury shouldn't be a 2 month ordeal like this. Re: Midseason Assessment (aka - what do we need at the deadline?)

Probably not gonna happen but Cubs need a # 1 or 2 starter. Lester is the ace followed by 4 4/5’s.

Bullpen can’t keep getting 12 outs the rest of the season.

Internal pitching options for a starter - besides Adbert and Underwood - in the short term (0-2 years), what other candidates do the Cubs have in the system that are legitimate options to become a starter?
