Re: CDC Info on COVID-19 (Corona virus)

Russia has only 13 confirmed cases, so yeah - they totally have this under control (or the bodies are piling up and no one is talking).

Re: CDC Info on COVID-19 (Corona virus)

It looks like we are cancelling our trip to Amsterdam in 2 weeks. A week ago they had 1 confirmed case and as of this am, it’s at 82. The flight most likely won’t be cancelled but things we were planning to do are an uncertainty 2 weeks from now - ie train to Paris, the Louvre May/May not be closed,...

Re: Politics & Current Events

Well this is the most obvious answer ever. AOC. She’ll still be too you g in 2024, I believe. 2028 feels like the sweet spot to get a real progressive in the WH, and I think it'll be AOC. Millenials will be 29-48 by then, and I imagine their demo will be heavily polarized with the DEMSOC on one sid...

The domain registration lapsed. Turns out the company I registered with back in 2003 isn't in business as themselves any more. It was a pain to get it squared away. Should be good for five more years, though. 2025, that’s not even a real year Ugh fml. I don't even want to think about Trump just sta...

If we're believing in what Kap says, there is not an actual directive to be under the luxury tax. It actually makes sense with a quote Ricketts gave at a blogger q&a last offseason, not going to dig it up but basically it was he doesn't care about the tax - baseball will get a budget of XXX mil...

From that poll: https://twitter.com/conorsen/status/1226944869857419272 Joe is sliding hard. I think Joe is toast. I think what will matter the most going forward is: where do those black votes go who would otherwise support Biden? I think the race is going to boil down to Sanders Vs. either Bloomb...

I would bet he's at a stage now where it's something most of us won't notice but he can still feel it a little bit. Sounds eerily li...

It's more like Disneyland. We should have left the park and gone to the Village to eat, then gone to the other park. Our problem was two picky eaters, one of whom doesn't eat bread or cheese and the other that will only eat like 3 things the easiest of which is pizza. We are going to Amsterdam and ...

Disney Paris was nice but the food was lousy. If it's anything like Disney World, you really have to do your food research ahead of time to find out exactly where in the park to get the good stuff.
