Re: 2018-2019 Bulls season thread

I'm getting bullish on this team. As much as I dislike Forman, Pax has done a good job with drafts and trades. Parker is going to be gone after this year even though I was all for picking him up for a year because they had to get above the cap floor anyway. Carter is playing pretty good. You have a...

Re: Do you get your flu shot?

It amazes me that people still don’t realize you can get a flu shot at a pharmacy. Do you not walk into a Walgreens/CVS/Target/Wal-Mart/grocery store from August to March?

Re: 2018 remainder of season injury thread

I mean how likely is it really that he pulls a hamstring running 90 feet? I do get that it’s an unnecessary risk with Strop already having pitched 1.2 innings, but apparently Joe was going to have him close it out and go 2.2? Real glad we at least preserved the history and uniqueness of no DH in th...

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

I think the comp is bad. But being comped to a 2 time all star isn’t the worst thing ever. And the comp comes from the offense, which Boozer was pretty good at for most of his career. WCJ’s defense is going to be very solid IMO.

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Some rumors from the Combine that could shape things up for is at 7..... 1. Phoenix- Ayton 2. Sacramento- Bamba or MPJ 3. Atlanta- Trae Young 4. Memphis- Prefers trading down to take Mikal Bridges 5. Dallas- 6. Orlando- 7. Chicago- If the top 3 goes like that, you've got Doncic, Bagley, JJJ, and on...

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Bulls pick 7th. If they had lost the coin flip with the Kings, they'd be picking 2nd. Hopefully one of Bamba or Porter makes it to 7. But, I'd be OK with Carter. Do think there's a really good chance Young or Sexton go 6 to Orlando. Which knocks someone down to 7. I don’t know the exact process of ...

Re: 2017-18 Bulls Thread - Fly the Tank W

Knicks up 13 at half. They’ll probably tank it away in the 2nd half though so not getting my hopes up. A Kings win tonight would be nice too if we can find a way to lose. Still an outside shot for top 6 if we can find a way to lose out. Not likely, though. Why does the NBA lottery only give you a ch...

Slim chance the Pels fall out of the playoffs. That would be a nice sonsolarion prize out of this otherwise abysmal final couple weeks. Ugh. We really should have shut down Lauri and gotten in the top 6.

Re: Roll Call: Who is going to be in Chicago for the World Series?

Decided against going to Wrigley this weekend. Between the insane cover charges at the bar, the police perimeter that's getting set up and having to show up 10 hours early to even get near Wrigleyville, I'd rather just hit a nice bar and get horsefeathers there. For those who don't know, there is g...

Re: Roll Call: Who is going to be in Chicago for the World Series?

If anyone was on the fence about paying the Stubhub prices, right now is a good chance to buy. The minimum still hasn't changed much (about 2k with fees for SRO), but the other tickets are coming down. Just bought 3 in section 140 for $2300 each with fees. These were over $3600 last night. Dropped a...

Re: Playoff Ticket Lottery

I would open multiple windows. For the NLDS I won the lottery and opened a ton of windows. 1 got through fairly quickly (maybe 2 minutes) and the rest got through about 4-5 minutes later. On Wednesday I tried to purchase WS tickets after winning the Indians lottery. Did the same thing, but none of t...

If more than 1 of your email addresses gets selected though, I would only use 1 of them to purchase tickets. Unless you use different addresses and credit cards. But if you use the same CC and/or address, they may cancel both your orders.
