Just what the Rockies need-another outfielder.

They could use a good one, though.

Then why would they want Almora? Hey-Oh!

Re: James Norwood Selected, Anthony Bass to DL; Bryant to Rehab

10 Day DLing people for sun burn is actually genius, checkmate Dodgers! Haha, it was actually Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. https://twitter.com/philgrogers/status/1015986254566100993?s=21 My nephew was kind enough to give that to me a couple of years ago. Words cannot describe how painful it was.

Re: General Baseball Chit-Chat Thread

If you wanna see pitchers hit dingers, let them have a some kind of hitting competition during the all star break or something. That's as bad as his slippery slope argument. Relegating any pitcher batting to some kind of exhibition is as bad as saying that the adoption of the DH will lead to a DH a...

If they go through all of this trouble and I still have to watch a pitcher hit, imma horsefeathering kill somebody Am I the only one that likes the pitchers hitting? If only because pitchers juicing home runs is really, really, extra cool. Wood, Z, Lester, and Arrieta hitting dingers are very fond ...

He's not going to fix anything. He's going to try to create family detention centers, to stop the pr disaster and not change any of the meaningful f'ed up policies.

Re: General Cubs Chit-Chat

Assuming no other injuries I’d say I’m almost certain Monty will be back in his swing man role once Darvish is back. That’s where he’s most valuable. We have some long stretches of games in the 2nd half (and a double header or two) so it wouldn’t surprise me to see him get some more starts when the...

Re: General Cubs Chit-Chat

It's looking like Montgomery is forcing his way into the starting rotation. TT is driving the bandwagon, but I'm definitely on board. The Cubs will probably want to watch his innings closely. Last year, he pitched 130 innings, so I would think a 20% increase to 150 innings is probably a fair limit f...

Re: Baez impresses Baez

Anyway, Javy continues showing signs of growth at the plate. I can't believe this dude is able to recognize pitches. He has to be terrifying to pitch to right now. He took a 1-2 or 2-2 cutter/slider vs Anderson tonight (I think his 2nd AB) off the outside corner that was a pretty good pitch but not...

But then Sahadev responded thusly: https://twitter.com/sahadevsharma/status/984427315441500160 Yes, should have used the rolleyes, my post wa...
