Re: Politics & Current Events

I read that mayor Pete article on the root and that clinched for me I would not vote for that guy in anyway except if he was up against Trump. The dude comes across as a white supremacists enabler.

Re: Astros stole signs electronically in 2017

So is it safe to assume Astsro's players are going to get buzzed inside a lot more next year, particularly the cocky Bregman - he of the let me carry this bat to first and hand it to my coach fame? Or was the sign stealing pervasive enough around the league where teams are just happy it was the Ast...

Ok, so I'm not saying this is the only cause, but taken in conjunction with the Rizzo quote about not stealing signs, it would explain why the Cubs players didn't seem to benefit as much as others.

If I’m being wildly optimistic, maybe a Bernie/warren showdown forces one of them out and allows the other to gain enough support to take out Biden.

They definitely have a very loose definition of rock. Or maybe rock has changed since I basically stopped listening to top 40 type stuff.

And it's ok if you didn't like it. Those beers are not for everybody. Rare is the beer that everybody likes. Closest I've seen is a new england ipa. Even people who don't like ipas seem to like those.

Waited? I assume he means aging it. I will actually disagree here, in that I find that aging doesn't add too much to the beer. Sometimes it will smooth things out, particularly if they are high alcohol. However, I find that the alcohol bite is needed to balance out the thick, syrupy sweetness of th...

Does anyone trade any of the rarer beers? I have some extra bottles of some of the Brickstone BBA Dark Secret from the Black Friday limited releases from (I think) 2015-2018, including some of the alts. Assuming it is legal and not against any rules, I might be interested in trading for other limit...

My wife just came back from a NovemBeard charity event where she bought $40 of raffle tickets and won a $500 box of stuff. It was mostly shaving-related items (a million of them), but there was also beer: 1 bottle of Bourbon County 2018 1 bottle of Bourbon County 2019 1 bottle of Rhinegeist Limited...

While we are here, how'd everyone make out with Bourbon county? I only got the regular, but a buddy of mine had an ingenious way of getting everything he wanted. Instead of camping out at binnys, he followed a beer truck around to the non binnys liquor stores and basically bought the stuff as soon a...
