Re: College Football - Week 2 (Sept. 8)

As a non partial observer, that pylon cam appeared to show the football going directly over the pylon. And though I don't know the rule exactly, if it's a touchdown when the ball hits the pylon, then I would say that's a touch back since it appeared to go over the pylon.

Re: TV thread

It's not the quality (which remains, IMO, awesome) so much as the content. I'll be curious to see what you think. This. It's just as awesome as season 1 IMO, but the tone/content totally changed. I can't imagine what season 3 will bring. Season 2 was horsefeathering awesome. The actor who played Fa...

Plus, if you give it to a kid, theres like a greater than 50 percent chance you are getting a free beer out of it (which i got when I caught and gave my kosuke fukodome foul ball to a kid).

Re: Baez impresses Baez

I always wonder if they have a kid at home or something. If I were him, I'd be wanting to bring it home to my son or nephews. But I'd probably give it to the rando kid just to avoid that exact situation. You shouldn't give it to the kid to "avoid the situation," you should give it to the ...

I won a (recreational) beach tournament with my friends in 90° heat today. Any other sporting occasions worth mentioning happening today? 8-) I get to play my final regular season Wiffle series this year in 90+ degree heat. And that series is basically meaningless as we are essentially alrea...

Too lazy to look it up, but I think they only rely on that senator affiliation thing for certain judges that don't have specific data to run that assessment. So for Kennedy or the othe Supreme Court justices, their rating is actually based on their rulings, not their home state senator or whatever.

But the course wasn't the same for everyone. The first people that teed off shot like -6, and as the course dried out, the scores went up dramatically.

It's a sleep sack. And even though I think that kid is too old to be wearing one, I know parents with 3 year olds that still have them in a crib. So basically parents do weird horsefeathers.

Re: Bears 2018 Offseason: Matt Nagy Hired as Head Coach

I'd be happy with someone like Nelson, as I view him as fairly safe with ability to provide immediate impact. But if there's an impact rusher available, I don't see how they can pass that up. So if pace believes that Landry has that ability, then I will be all for that pick.

Re: Bears 2018 Offseason: Matt Nagy Hired as Head Coach

Along those lines, my buddy was thinking they may take Harold Landry with the 8th pick. PFF did their mock and have the Bears going Landry, with Chubb still on the board, no less. That was a "what would I do" mock and not a prediction though. What was their line of reasoning for taking La...
