Jason Benetti is the only replacement that wouldn't depress me but why would he want to do that to himself.
Maybe Bonnie Hunt can be talked into it

Re: Politics & Current Events
Yeah, "No Malarkey" would have really energized people for 2020. Biden would crush trump in a general election. Sanders could win but it’s far less certain. Again it’s like pulling up for a 3 on an uncontested fast break except because the policy goals aren’t fleshed out and sanders appea...

Re: Better Call Saul (Again)
Haven't watched Monday's episode yet, but I could watch an hour of Saul trying to sell burner phones to people and be very happy. On the other hand, I'm still not terribly interested in the Mike/Gus/Lalo/Nacho storyline. I know it will all come together and be great, but part of me wishes I could ju...

My wife's great uncle Francis Currey passed away yesterday. He was one of 3 living WWII medal of honor recipients. I never met him, but he was badass enough to have a GI Joe figure made after him that he gave to my wife and is now on display in my son's room. His story is incredible. https://en.wiki...

my wife and i's tv taste is pretty similar, but a few weeks ago she mentioned that she was excited that the hills is coming back, and that she found out it's on demand on our cable provider so she was going to binge the old episodes first. i laughed and said "yeah right", but i'll be damne...

Lost is such a gigantic pop culture blind spot for me, and that Super Punch gif is definitely not helping convince me to change that. my parents were way way late to watching lost, and they really enjoyed it. to be honest, it's probably more enjoyable watching it new now when you can just plow thro...

Just want to appreciate Joanie. A couple days ago me, my wife, and son took her for a walk, and 3 houses away a pit bull got out of the open gate and attacked her. Luckily the dog left the humans alone. It probably only lasted 20 seconds, but it felt like forever. I couldn't get the idiot dog to sto...

My feeling immediately after viewing is that this was lazy and predictable writing, and that I hate it. That may change. Dany burning the city down was predictable? Jaime and Cersei dying that way was predictable? Arya retreating instead of trying to kill Cersei was predictable? Greyworm attacking ...

The Dark Side of the Ring series on VICE is excellent, if you haven't seen them yet. Tonight's episode is about Gino Hernandez, and I'm pretty excited for it because I really don't know a whole lot about the guy aside from running across his name a few times. If it's anything like the first 3 episod...
