Figured he might throw a last minute Hail Mary to save his seat. But ya that’s not happening

It would only hurt him. His base is Colorado Springs, and literally all they care about is ending abortion.

Re: Justice Ginsburg has died

I'm hoping that a couple of the bubble senators currently up for reelection (e.g. Collins) won't want to touch this purely out of a sense of self preservation. Although even that doesn't help during the lame duck period... Collins and Murkowski I'd buy on. After that... MAYBE Romney if he wants to ...

So, I'm in the middle of no where watching tarantula males wondering around looking for mates. It was really cool. Then my phone said Ruth Bader Ginsberg died. Totally ruined the trip.

I never even thought about it until Lester's post-game comments, but last night could have been his last start at Wrigley Field in a Cubs uniform. The way he spoke, it certainly sounded like that could be the case. What are everyone's thoughts about bringing him back next year? Obviously he isn't w...

That's said if you're going demographic heavy on these type of analysis, it necessitates pessimism about somewhere like Minnesota. How so? What demographics in Minnesota suggest its open to Trump out of curiosity? High white population. I think it skews older too, but I'd have to check. Higher than...

That's a big state from the 2016 map if the Dems can't expand into a state like AZ, NC, or FL. For instance, https://www.270towin.com/maps/47ZzB https://projects.fivethirtye...

How could they even horsefeathering argue for that? What was the justification?

Massive cheating and general rat-horsefeathering to make getting a valid count impractical, then getting the SC to Bush v Gore him to victory

That the guys with the best results in the league do not often replicate their historic success afterwards should not be a surprise. You would do a little better to just look at average production over careers league-wide...which would have its own selection bias because only largely successful play...
