Oh and I'm starting to think 7+ wins. Nothing crazy but that defense is looking really good and the offense has lots of pieces too. I think Trubisky starts within the first 4-6 games and has a pretty good rookie season. Not saying he'll light the world on fire, but in my world he'll be good enough ...

He's usually looked huskier than that. I mean, the moons over my hammy shot wasn't THAT long ago. honestly, prob because you checked out on the bears the last couple years. he leaned out maybe sometime in the trestman years. you're right, tho. he was chubbier a few years ago. yeah take a look at hi...

Sounds like Wainwright might be done, going back to STL to get his arm looked at. He had some prettt candid comments about his arm hurting and his FB velo the last two starts has been in the low-mid 80s (avg is 91 this year). I'm not going to cry or anything but he's been the most likeable cardinal...

The last 5 WS winners won 81, 84, 71, 76, and 88 games the year after their title. Interestingly, the last 5 WS losers fared much better, winning 87, 95, 90, 93, and 93 games, which at least suggests if there's a hangover effect it's not (entirely) related to the duration of the postseason. too muc...
